The cutscenes make it a lot more bothersome. The heroes simply aren't leveled enough at that point. Fighting that big toaster with a lvl 1 or 2 pistol isn't exactly grand firepower being at your disposal. But, with the toaster I finally figured out the retreating strategy, although, is scary as heck when at the end of the fight when its life points get low it starts crawling towards you. O_O

With Krogan it's sheer luck. He's fine while he's hiding behind the cover. Once he starts charging you're screwed. He knocks out the tank in two punches and my Shepard in one. I've noticed he charges once all his cronies are dead, but if you leave any alive then they're absolute pests gunning you down while you're dodging a huge boulder of a Korgan. I used all my grenades on him while he was in cover.

My fighting is not so grand at all. Although, in DAO I feel comfortable with combat and managed 1 game on nightmare, and it was too much of a drag. But, no way I'm trying that with Inq or DA2. ME combat is a lot harder than all DA.

In all games I tend to invest as much as possible into diplomacy. I enjoy having the diplomatic option even if most of the time I want to kill the nasties and don't want to talk them out of attacking me, but I always found it amusing in DAO when you use 'do you really want to fight a mage' line on the bandits bridge. Then the stupid one runs away yelling, 'I don't want to be turned into a toad.'

I don't play military or 1st person shooter games. I'm fairly lost with all your references. What you're describing sounds like multi player pvp. I did used to play some knights and magic oriented mmprog games that had pvp elements, but those are very different from the 1st person. Some raids were interesting to take part in.

That could have been a lucky shot. Five hours! That's impressive. I have no patience with so much work in a game.

Yep, if there's opportunity, try to outflank the enemy. That is why I generally not stay with the main group in ME3 MP because the mobs really like to outflank. I rarely play infil though. In the old days, when I play other game MPs, like Wolfensten, etc. I always go as a medic. Because 100% of the time, the other guys chose the aggressive roles.

Great! I had to buy the DLC with the old Bioware points which was annoying.

Wow, they dont let you cancel it? Thats bad. 

I noticed in Andromeda when you are sending out apex teams, if you accidentally click to play multiplayer, it jsut takes you there, no warning, no 'are you sure?'. Really easy to do too, becuase for non apex missions its spacebar to run. For the multiplayer ones its spacebar to enter multiplayer. Sneaky bastages.


Try to get out of multiplayer though. they ask a  couple times. Do you really want to leave multiplayer? You havent even bought a random loot chest yet.

Theres a thread on this forum about that bug, at least I think so. Issue with the Radeon video card I think?

I guess people are busy with the holidays? Funny, I'm quite free today, but from tommorow 'till new year's eve I'll be away from home, so I'll probably only log in around the evening

Be careful with Liara. She tends to think Shepard is madly in love with her if you are even the slightest bit nice to her. It's not a big deal if you're waiting until ME2 to start a romance (with Garrus or one of the new characters, for example), but if you are trying to romance someone else in ME1, I would actually suggest -- based on a very recent experience of mine -- to not talk to Liara much at all.
