[Day/Night Game] Trouble on the Citadel - round "LE Part 2: Why Cerberus Is Right For You"

If you really are who you claim to be, I REALLY hope you don't accidentally take down our beloved Shadowbroker!

"Hurry!" came Shepard's voice over the comm. "If they leave the warehouse, we'll lose them!" 

Wrex roared in response and thundered down the aisle of precariously-balanced stacks of crates. Another of Shepard's team was up ahead, perched on a crate and preparing a burst of biotics for when their quarry came through the door. Shepard had found a pair of pyjaks who he suspected knew where to find the Cerberus agents, and Wrex couldn't wait to crush their skulls with his fists.

He was closing in! Ten yards. Nine yards. Eight.

Wrex didn't see the spot of industrial grease on the floor of the warehouse, and neither did his companion.

"Shit! Wrex, they changed course," said Shepard. "Get to the south entrance!" 

"On it, Shepaaaaaaaa--!"

CRASH!

"By the goddeAAAAAH!"

The crates went toppling to the ground, bursting in a volcano of red sand, Wrex's companion flailing in the debris. Wrex struggled to his feet, growling as the red sand took effect. As his redundant metabolic system attempted to fight off the drug, Wrex stumbled over to check on his teammate. She was out cold.

He snarled. Maybe he could still make it in time, still get to the south entrance before...

"Forget it, Shepard," said Vega over the comm. "They got away."

Sorry, I was sitting there drawing a blank as to why Wrex would want to hurt Liara (other than her being a pain in the ass, obviously)   I had to write something so the game could move on.

Also, I wanted to take this opportunity to point out that the heros are doing a far better job of eliminating each other than the villains are 

Why didn't you take me? I must admit though that I wondered why Liara would follow the lead of Diana, who is open to doubt but in any case has no choice even if genuine. So I must admit I did hope that if you didn't take me you would take Space because it is not guaranteed he is who he appears to be and losing Diana would be a favour (sorry but she is a liability).

Don't worry, though, Wrex, you do have a bad tooth and all. You know I find it rather amusing that if only I had opted for Liara I would be sitting pretty now but sadly I did not. Still it was rather odd that people followed my lead given my monika.

I voted for OG because I found the player one of the most suspicious out of the rest. Even if Space didn't cast their vote, I would have more than likely placed my vote towards that player.

Taking out Liara is a huge blow to our cause. I wonder who the villains take down tonight

If Wrex hadn't taken out Liara then the spies probably would have in the night anyway, unless Javik used his ability and we have already discounted that as creating more problems than it is worth at this stage, so actually Wrex doing what he did was no more destructive to the cause than taking out any non spy.

To be honest, I'd have taking Diana out on principal

It's too early in the morning. I was sitting here wondering when in the games Wrex complained about a bad tooth.

Well, she didn't take me out.. so..

Also, in retrospect, when Gryphon quoted Wrex pretty much word for word (Cerberus except Saren) we should've known how much we dun goofed.

Then again, hindsight is 20/20.

I cannot believe that just happened. Wow.

I agree with Gervaise, we need to get an agent out ASAP and they are likely coming for you next. Just use it wisely. This is getting down to the wire and we have yet to even catch ONE agent. :/
