Okay, so last game I only able to narrate the beginning of the second game of the trilogy. So going forward, the next game will continue where I left off. Which means the role list for the next game will be about the same. With that said, here is the role list for the next game:
Thane Krios - The Drell Assassin -
As a trained assassin, Thane knows how to follow his targets within the shadows without them ever knowing. Each night, Thane can stalk a player to discover who they visited during the same night. As an investigative role, Thane is Always Good.
(Tip: With this ability, Thane can possibly discover night killing roles and most importantly, an agent should they stalk a player that visited a player that was eliminated during the same night. With enough sleuthing, Thane can also figure out other roles with his ability as well. Be sure to pay attention to the night results/the narrative while playing this role!)
Grunt - The Krogan Berserker -
Grunt's physicality as a tank-bred krogan makes him perfect in fending off attacks. Grunt may protect one player per night, but must name the player (unlike Miranda). He cannot protect the same player twice in a row. He may protect himself once per game. An evil Grunt who chooses to protect himself will be protected from Garrus should he attack that same night.
Mordin Solus - The Salarian Scientist -
As an eccentric scientist, Mordin knows a few tricks up his seemingly harmless sleeve. Mordin has figured out how to offer temporary protection from indoctrination. Each night, he will hand out a protection device to one player of his choice. The recipient may activate the device on any subsequent night (not the night on which it is given). Activating the device will protect a hero from indoctrination on that night. An agent who receives a device will instead be able to indoctrinate two players on any subsequent night. Each player may receive only one protection device. The device MUST be activated on the night that the hero is attacked in order to protect the hero.
Miranda Lawson - The Cerberus Officer -
Miranda's capabilities as second in command shows her adept in handling dire situations. Once per game, you may choose to save the role indoctrinated by the agents during that night. You will not be told which player you are saving. You can use this ability to save yourself.
Kasumi Goto - The Master Thief -
As an enigmatic rogue, Kasumi is capable of gathering information from just about anyone. Once per game, Kasumi may cloak herself and go snooping around for information. She will then learn the role being attacked by the agents that night. If she correctly tells the GM which player has this role, then Kasumi's warning will cause the player to escape indoctrination that night. You cannot save yourself with this ability. Kasumi who begins the game as evil may instead use her ability once per game to block Liara.
Jack - Subject Zero-
Now that Jack is free, she now handles things her own way, even if it comes at a high cost. Once per game, Jack may interrogate another player overnight who she suspects of working for the agents. If she is correct, the player is eliminated. If she is wrong, she is eliminated instead. Jack cannot be Evil.
Garrus Vakarian - The Turian Rebel -
As a former C-Sec Officer turned vigilante, Garrus now follows his own brand of justice. Once per game, you may choose to shoot someone during the night cycle. This will eliminate that player from the game.
Samara - The Asari Justicar -
As a Justicar, Samara is capable of protecting herself from whom she believes is unjust. Twice per game, Samara is allowed to go on alert during the night. If the agents or a night killing role visits Samara while she is on alert, she will fight off their attempted attack. However, there is a one fourth chance that she will also eliminate a random agent or the night killing role while on alert. Should Morinth visit or try to control Good Samara while she's on alert, Morinth will be eliminated. If Samara is Evil, she will not eliminate Morinth should Morinth pays Evil Samara a visit.
*Legion - The Geth Infiltrator -
As part of the geth platform, it may take Legion some time to build a consensus, but once they do, their word is convincing. Once per game, Legion may change all votes for elimination to the player of their choice. PM the game master to activate this ability.
*Although I have made Tali Evil for the remainder of the game because she was Evil in the first, the case for Legion is a bit different since Legion is geth. Narratively, I actually figured out a way to make Legion good again, unlike Tali. Because of this, Legion will not be Always Evil going forward.
EDI - The Advanced AI -
As the Normandy's new AI, EDI's intentions are always good, but is still susceptible to devious influences. EDI starts the game as a hero. Should indoctrinated agents attempt to indoctrinate EDI during the first two nights, EDI will not be eliminated from the game. Instead, EDI will be told the identities of the agents and must work to protect them from player wrath during the day. EDI may not vote for either agent during the day cycle once indoctrinated. Indoctrinated EDI wins with the indoctrinated agents, once all other players are eliminated.
However, on night 3, EDI can no longer be turned, but instead gains the ability to sacrifice herself for another player. On the night she activates her ability, the player targeted by the agents will be saved, and EDI will be eliminated in their place. On a double elimination night, the saved player will be determined randomly. She can only sacrifice herself for players that were targeted by the agents, not those shot by Garrus, or due to Jack failing an interrogation. Should indoctrination fail that night for any other reason, EDI will remain in play and may use her ability another night. If targeted by the agents on night 3 or later, she may be eliminated or saved just as any other player would be.
Jacob Taylor - The Cerberus Operative -
As an experienced former Alliance Marine, Jacob knows how to complete his objectives, even in death. Should he get eliminated during the night, he will be shown the complete role list and can answer one question from any non eliminated player left in the game during the next day. The question asked does not have be a yes/no question. Jacob does not have to answer truthfully either.
Zaeed Massani - The Mercenary Veteran -
As a battered mercenary, it doesn't take much to get Zaeed's blood pumping. Should Zaeed get voted off during the day, he will become so angry that he will take down another player of his choosing for revenge.
Indoctrinated Tali'Zorah - The Evil Quarian Machinist -
Once per game during a day round, you may protect someone from being voted off. You may not protect yourself. PM the Game Master to use this ability. Since Tali was Evil in the first game, she will always be Evil going forward if in game, for continuity's sake.
Conrad Verner - Original Version - The Superfan - Once per game, Conrad may mimic the ability of another player by providing the GM with the name and role of the target. If correct, he will then gain the ability of that role. The true player of that role does NOT lose their ability. Conrad's blind hero worship makes him a target for the bad guys, and thus the role may ONLY be given to the indoctrinated. He may not mimic the ability of a fellow agent, and he may not mimic the role of a player that has no evil version (Liara). Further info about this role is at the front of the page.
Khalisah al-Jilani: Khalisah is a sensationalist human news reporter that resides in the Citadel. In all three games, Khalisah will try to get an interview with Shepard, making sure to try to cast Shepard in a rather negative light. In the third game however, considering the dire nature of the Reaper threat, Khalisah slightly grows out of her hostile ways as a reporter.
As a sensationalist news reporter, Khalisah al-Jilani is willing to get her story no matter the cost. Once per game, Khalisah will choose one player to target. It is then al-Jilani's job to get their target voted off during the day no matter what. Khalisah does not have to vote for their target every round. Khalisah wins when they get their target voted off. Like Morinth, Khalisah is also a Neutral Evil role (Slightly less Evil than Morinth though, since it's possible they can target a spy).
---
The lightning round rules will also stay in place as well.

The Sign Up sheet is also now open for the new game. I'll tag a couple of players to see if there's any interest. However, I have decided that I would prefer at least eight players in the next game so if we come up short this time, I will probably wait a bit until we have enough players. Sign Up List1. reed 2. dragontartare 3. Space 4. seven 5. Cati 6. gervaise 7. OG 8. dad
ETA: Since we have enough players , I will start the game in about two days. People are still free to sign up until then, though.

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay, but I recently got my vaccine finally and was pretty sick and sore all over afterwards. This is pretty normal for me though since I tend to get a bit sick after receiving shots, and I'm actually pretty relieved now that I finally have it. Anyway, on to the game. ---- Prologue
"Shepard. Good work on Freedom's Progress,"
Shepard's hologram appeared before the Illusive Man. The Illusive Man was sitting in his chair as before, with one of his legs tentatively crossed over the other. The sun behind him still bright and shifting in the distance.
"The quarians forwarded their findings from Veetor's debriefing. No new data, but it's a surprising olive branch, given our history," The Illusive Man continued, his cybernetic eyes glowing in the darkness, "You and I have different methods, but I can't argue with your results,"
"The data from his omni-tool should be useful," Shepard replied.
"We're still analyzing it," The Illusive Man said, "But more importantly, you confirmed that the Collectors are behind the abductions,"
"Why do I get the feeling you knew about this already?" Shepard asked with crossed arms.
"I had my suspicions, but I needed proof. The Collectors are enigmatic at best," The Illusive Man began, taking a drag from his cigarette, "They periodically travel to the Terminus Systems, looking to gather seemingly unimportant items or specimens. Usually in exchange for their technology,"
"When their transactions are complete they disappear as quickly as they arrive: back beyond the unmapped Omega 4 relay. Until now, we've had no evidence of direct aggression by the Collectors,"
"Why is the Omega 4 relay unmapped? What do we know about it?," Shepard asked, her eyebrows slightly raised.
"Only that no ship passing through it has ever returned," The Illusive Man replied, "Our best guess is that the relay reacts differently to Collector vessels, allowing them safe passage,"
"If they can manipulate relays, that's just further evidence of the connection with the Reapers,"
"You're holding something back," Shepard said, her eyes narrowing at the hologram before her, "How do you know that the Reapers are involved?"
"The patterns are there, buried in the data. The new Council and the Alliance want to believe the Reaper threat died with Sovereign," The Illusive Man said, his eyes meeting Shepard's, "You and I know better,"
Shepard then preceded to ask the hologram several questions regarding the Collector's current interest in abducting humans and their usual behavior, and the Illusive Man answered in kind. Once Shepard was finished with her inquiries, she exhaled; for she knew her abouut her next inevitable step with the holographic man before her.
"I'll need a team. A good one,"
The Illusive Man then informed Shepard that he already had a list of dossiers of potential squad mates that she will need to recruit in order to stop the Collectors. Within these dossiers was a scientist, a krogan warlord, a convict, a veteran mercenary, an elusive thief, and a mysterious vigilante. As Shepard went through these dossiers, she couldn't help but think these potential cast of squad mates were certainly colorful. However, one particular dossier struck her interest the most, although Shepard couldn't figure out why.
"Finding them and convincing them to work with you could be challenging," The Illusive Man noted as Shepard briefly eyed the dossiers within her omni-tool, "But you're a natural born leader,"
"I'll continue to track the Collectors. When they make their next appearance, I'll notify you and your team. Be ready,"
"I did have a good team once," Shepard said, her eyes briefly disconnecting from her surroundings, "The ones who helped me stop Saren and the geth,"
"That was two years ago Commander," The Illusive Man quickly responded, shaking his head, "Most of them have moved on...or their allegiances have changed,"
Shepard further asked about the whereabouts of her old crew, and the hologram responded in kind. According to the Illusive Man, Wrex is now a rather progressive leader in Tuchanka, trying to keep his people and planet unified. Kaidan is still within the Alliance and was promoted. Liara is now in Illium and apparently working for the Shadow Broker. Tali is presumed dead after the Battle of the Citadel and her betrayal. Garrus' whereabouts however, were unknown. Shepard grimaced at the news from her last former team mate. The uncertainty of where Garrus was gave Shepard an uneasy feeling, and she hoped wherever he was, he was safe.
"Okay I get it. They're not available," Shepard relented, eyeing her list of dossiers once more,, "So you worry about the Collectors, and I'll make sure my team's ready,"
The Illusive Man took a long drag from his cigarette and exhaled, a cloud of smoke quickly surrounding him, "Good. Two things before you go,"
"First, head to Omega and find Mordin Solus. He's a brilliant salarian scientist. Our intelligence suggests he may know how to counteract the Collector's paralyzing seeker swarms,"
"I haven't even started and you're already telling me what to do," Shepard said, shaking her head.
"I'm giving you direction; what you do with it is up to you," The Illusive Man replied coolly, "I'm sure you'll make the right decision,"
"All right, what's the other thing?"
"I've found a pilot you might like, and I hear he's one of the best," --
As the hologram dissipated, Shepard turned around and was face to face with the person she last saw before her emporary death. A certain, but much welcomed sight for sore eyes. Before Shepard could react, Joker spoke, with a cheeky grin plastered across his face.
"Hey, Commander. Just like old times, huh?"
Seconds later, Shepard was walking right beside her old pilot, as he was taking her somewhere she was not certain of yet.
"I can't believe it's you, Joker," Shepard finally said in disbelief.
"Look who's talking! I saw you get spaced," Joker replied.
"Got lucky, with a lot of strings attached," Shepard said as they kept walking, "How'd you get here?"
"It all fell apart without you, Commander," Joker began, "Everything you stirred up, the Council just wanted it gone. Team was broken up, records were sealed, and I was grounded."
"The Alliance took the only thing that mattered to me," Joker said as his head was shaking, "Hell yeah I joined Cerberus,"
"You really trust the Illusive Man?"
"I don't trust anyone who makes more than I do," Joker quipped, "But they aren't all bad. Saved your life, let me fly- "
Shepard's expression slightly perked up at Joker's last words. Joker noticed this, and grinned. "And there's this,"
Moments later, a familiar ship graced Shepard's presence. And for the first time since she woke up, Shepard eyes were lit anew, with big smile on her face.
---
The game has officially begun and the roles will be sent out within the hour. If you haven't received your role by then, please let me know! And good luck everyone!

Due to what happened during the night, I had to make another time jump. This time, the time has skipped into another loyalty mission.
"Shepard," As Shepard entered the Life Support room of the Normandy, there she found Thane with a deeply pensive expression. Shepard has always found Thane in a meditative state before conversing with him. Either that, or the brooding drell would lapse into a vivid memory. But this time, Shepard could tell he was in a different state of mind. Just from the tone of his voice, Shepard could knew something was amiss.
"Is there something wrong?" Shepard asked as Thane turned to face her.
"Yes. Now that you are here though, it seems more difficult to talk about,"
"I've got time," Shepard delicately said, "So take it at your own pace,"
"Thank you," Thane responded, his eyes slightly downcast, "But I fear I have done that for too long,"
Thane then preceded to get out of his seat to lead Shepard away from their usual spot in Life Support. Now they are facing a nearby weapons rack at the other side of the room. As Shepard stood next to Thane, she couldn't help but notice that he was even more lost in his thoughts than usual. Seconds passed by as the room fell silent. Then, the lone drell finally spoke..
"I had a family, once. I still have a son. His name is Kolyat," Thane admitted, his words spilling out in quick succession, "I haven't seen him for a very long time,"
Thane went on to admit that he had not seen Kolyat in a decade, as he went through a detailed memory lapse. Shepard asked if anything happened to his family, and Thane simply admitted that he eventually abandoned them due to his work as an assassin.
"You never mentioned this before," Shepard said, "Why now?"
"When my wife departed from her body, I-- attended to that issue. I left Kolyat in the care of his aunts and uncles. I have not seen or talked to him since,"
"If we're talking about this, he must have contacted you," Shepard noted.
"No he didn't," Thane shook his head, "But my condition-- I've been judging my life. Measuring what I've added, and what I've taken away,"
"I used my contacts to trace Kolyat. He has become disconnected. He does what his body wills,"
"What's wrong with him? Is he hurt?" Shepard asked.
"Something happened that should not have," Thane replied, his eyes growing distant, "He knows where I been, what I've done,"
"I don't know his reasons, but he has gone to the Citadel. He has taken a job as a hit man," Thane continued, "I would like your help to stop him. He is -- This is not a path he should walk,"
Shepard, however, had other questions from Thane before agreeing to his favor. Thane obliged, answering Shepard's questions regarding why someone would hire such a new hit man. When Shepard was satisfied with her inquiries, she eventually agreed in helping Thane find his son before things get tragic. After all, Shepard would need Thane's mind to be clear before they take on the Collectors.
---
"According to C-Sec, a drell recently passed through customs. The C-Sec office may have more information," EDI relayed to Shepard as she exited out of her shuttle. With this information, Shepard headed straight to C-Sec with Thane and Garrus in tow. As Shepard finally finished through Customs, Captain Bailey was at his desk to greet Shepard, shifting through mountains of paperwork all the while.
"My associate is trying to find his son. We think a local criminal may have hired him," Shepard told the human officer, skipping through the usual pleasantries.
Thane stepped forward as Bailey gave him a once over before he spoke, "That should be easy. We don't see many drell here,"
Bailey then preceded to work on his computer before speaking again, "There we go. One of my men reported a drell recently. And he was talking to Mouse. Interesting,"
"Mouse?" Thane asked, his interest piqued.
"Ah, a petty criminal," Bailey responded dismissively, "Probably not the guy who hired your boy, but a messenger. He's a former duct ract, runs errands for anyone who'll pay,"
"What sort of trouble has Mouse been getting himself into?" Shepard asked.
"Odd jobs for shifty people. Duct racts take whatever's available to get by. Data running, fencing stolen goods," Bailey said before pausing, "Selling illegal VI personalities. Actually, he was selling one of you,"
"Me?" Shepard said as she slightly started to fidget.
"Yeah. When you erased a file, it would say, 'I delete data like you on the way to real errors' "
"That's a little extreme, Commander," Garrus chimed in.
"Laugh it up, Garrus,"
"Buggy though, it crashed every half hour," Bailey continued, "The error message was about how the galaxy was at stake, and you should fix the problem yourself,"
Ignoring Garrus' barely contained amusement, Shepard went back to the topic at hand, "What was it you called Mouse?"
"Duct ract. It's a local slang for the poor kids who grow up on the station," Bailey responded, "When they're small, they tend to play in the ventilation ducts, where adults can't get to them,"
"I think we've got all we need," Shepard said, as Bailey nodded in response.
"Mouse is usually upstairs, outside the Dark Star. He works out of a public comm terminal. You should pick up a copy of the Shepard VI when you talk to him," Bailey said before turning his attention to Thane, "It sounds like your boy is running with the wrong crowd,"
"Yes, I agree," Thane said, his voice slightly hitched.
"If Mouse can't get you in touch with your son directly, he'll know who can. I'll help you if you need it,"
With that said, Shepard eventually left C-Sec with Thane right beside her. Before they preceded to look for Mouse however, Thane gently set Shepard aside in order to talk.
"You didn't tell him that Kolyat plans to assassinate someone," Thane noted.
"I also didn't tell him what you did for a living," Shepard said with a slight grin, "Do you normally discuss assassinations with the police?"
"I take your point," Thane said with a slight nod, "Thank you, Shepard,"
---
It didn't take long to find Mouse, for he was exactly where Bailey said he would be. He was in the upper markets of the Citadel at work, when he saw Shepard and Thane. The very color of his face drained at the sight of them, especially Thane. Shepard instantly took notice of his recognition of her squad mate.
"Krios? I thought you retired!" Mouse said, his eyes widening in shock. Thane shook his head in response.
"Commander Shepard! I thought you died! What do you want with me?" Mouse's shaking hands were now slightly up in fear. Afterwards, Thane gently placed his hand on Mouse's shoulder.
"Be still Mouse," Thane said as his grip on Mouse's shoulder tightened, "You can change your pants in a moment,"
"How do you know Thane?" Shepard couldn't help but ask.
"Krios? He didn't...? Uh, if he didn't say nothing, I ain't either," Mouse shakily said.
"When we heard the name, I didn't think it could be the same Mouse," Thane began, "He was a contact on the Citadel when I was active. He and some other children would gather information on my targets,"
"You put children in danger to spy for you?"
"Children. The poor. My people's word for their kind is 'drala'fa': the ignored. They're everywhere, see everything. Yet they are never seen,"
Thane then quickly grabbed Mouse by the collar on his uniform, "You gave another drell instructions for an assassination. Who's the target?"
"I-I don't know. I didn't ask," Mouse replied. Moments later, Mouse could see Shepard cracking her knuckles which made him tremble, " 'Cause the people I work for, they can make me disappear,"
Shepard heard enough. With a quick push, Mouse was knocked right against the wall and quickly tumbled on the floor. Without a moment to spare, Shepard quickly pressed her foot on Mouse's chest.
"We don't have time for this," Shepard said as she pushed her foot harder into Mouse's chest. Mouse meanwhile, was struggling to push away.
"Ah! God, Thane! Help me!"
"Help me, Mouse," Thane pleaded as Mouse continued to struggle against Shepard's foot, "My son is out there, in the dark,"
"That's why I carried for him! I-I thought you'd want me to! Please!"
"Explain," Shepard pressed.
"H-he came in, said he was looking for work. He had a holo of me. The one you took, Krios," Mouse began, "I put the word out. Used your old contacts. Elias wanted to hire him. Elias Kelham,"
With the information received, Shepard finally gave a quick look at Thane and let Mouse go. Mouse gasped in relief, and slowly got back up on his feet.
"One other thing: That Shepard VI you're selling?"
"Oh shit. You hear--Look, you were dead! It was totally legal to make a VI out of you!"
"Give me a copy, and we'll call it even," Shepard responded.
"What? I mean, sure! Yeah, absolutely! Sorry about the whole...." Mouse said, giving Shepard the VI in the process, while trailing off his last thought.
"Just so you know, there's three volus who are patching it all the time,"
"Listen, Mouse, I didn't want to do that," Shepard sheepishly admitted, "We just don't have much time,"
"Just go away, man" Mouse said, his eyes looking at the floor.
"Mouse, I'm sorry too," Thane said softly.
"Just, go!" Mouse said, sulking away from the duo.
After a moment of pause, Shepard finally spoke, "That couldn't have been easy, Thane,"
Thane's expression was too in a sulk as he spoke, "Mouse knew more about my life than Kolyat ever did,"
Thane then began to slip into a memory lapse. The memory was of one of his meetings with Mouse when he was a child.
"I was the only good thing he had, back then. But I left him, as I left Kolyat,"
"Mouse said you had a holo of him?"
"Yes, a foolish bit of sentimentality," Thane replied, "I can perfectly recall every moment I spent with Mouse,"
Thane slipped into another memory lapse. This memory was of Mouse giving him the holo, wanting Thane to remember him. Afterwards, Mouse patted Thane's pockets asking where Kolyat's holo was.
"Don't blame yourself," Shepard finally said, snapping Thane back into the present. Thane however, shook his head in response.
"If I don't, who will? We must carry the weight of our decisions, Shepard. You of all people, know this,"
With those words spoken, the duo headed back to C-Sec, to speak with Bailey once more.
---
"So, you talked with Mouse? Did you get the name of the guy he's working with?" Bailey asked as Shepard and Thane greeted the officer once more.
"Elias Kelham," Shepard simply replied.
"Kelham? Shit," Bailey groaned, "Ah, look. This is awkward,"
"Kelham and I have an agreement. He doesn't cause too much trouble, and 'buys tickets to the C-Sec Charity Ball' from me. In return, I ignore him,"
"So he pays you off and you accept bribes," Shepard scoffed with crossed arms, "You were eager to help us before. What about now? Is it too inconvenient?"
"I said I'd help, it's just, there'll be repercussions if I don't handle it right," Bailey said, "He and I...give each other space. It keeps the peace,"
"I'll get some of my people to bring him in and set him up in a private room. You can interrogate him yourself," Bailey continued, "I'll stay out of sight. If I'm lucky, Kelham will believe that I had nothing to do with it,"
"Bring him in, then. We might not have much time,"
Without another word, Bailey quickly called in for an arrest for Kelham. Moments later, Kelham was brought into the interrogation room with his lawyer just outside the C-Sec office.
"He'll expect me to get him out of this," Bailey said to Shepard and Thane outside of the interrogation room.
"Not today, I think," Thane said.
"I'll stall him," Bailey said, motioning towards the lawyer, "Get in there, and work fast,"
As Bailey left to stall Kelham's lawyer, Thane turned his attention towards Shepard, "We should question him together. Keep the pressure on. Thoughts on how we approach it?"
Shepard smirked, already knowing her method of choice, "Oh, I know just what to do and say,"
"Very well," Thane nodded as they walked into the interrogation room, "I'll follow your lead. But if we waste too much time negotiating, Bailey won't be able to stall Kelham's advocate,"
---
"Get me out of these restraints, Bailey. Pretty funny, bringing me down here like this -- The hell are you two?"
As Thane and Shepard entered the room, Kelham was strapped into an interrogation chair. Noticing the pair, Kelham grimaced and struggled against his restraints. Shepard and Thane ignored his struggles against the chair however, and slowly began to circle around the strapped human. Eventually, they made a full stop, with Thane in front of him and Shepard right beside him.
"My name's Shepard. I'm a Spectre," Shepard simply stated.
"Prove it," Kelham said trying to sound unfazed. Yet his startled eyes betrayed his facade.
"I don't have to prove anything," Shepard responded, pulling her pistol out and thrusting it towards Kelham's face, "Spectres are above the law. We clear?"
"Crystal," Kelham replied, his voice now matching his eyes.
"Good. Now, fortunately, I'm not after you," Shepard said, withdrawing her pistol away from Kelham's frightened face, "You contacted an assassin. Who's the target?"
Without missing a beat, Kelham quickly responded, "Joram Talid. A turian. He's running for office. He lives in the 800 blocks,"
With this information received, Shepard placed her pistol back into her holster, "Thanks. You won't see us again. No offense, but you're a problem below my pay grade,"
Without another word, Shepard left the interrogation room, with a rather dumbfounded Thane on her tail.
"That may go down in history as the shortest interrogation ever," Thane said, as Shepard gave him a lopsided grin.
---
Shepard soon found herself within the 800 blocks, with Joram Talid right in her sights. The anti-human politician was speaking to a potential voter as Thane and Shepard watched a few feet away.
"There he is. How do you want to play this?" Shepard asked, turning her face towards her companion.
"Follow Talid on the maintenance catwalks. Tell me what he's doing. The krogan bodyguard will make him easy to follow,"
"Where will you be?"
Thane stepped forward, his head slightly down for a moment, "The darkest corner with the best view,"
Thane then preceded in prayer, his hands together and his eyes closed, blocking out the nearby noise.
"Amonikira. Lord of Hunters. Grant that my hands be steady, my aim be true, and my feet swift"
"And should the worst come to pass," Thane continued as passerbys walked in front of his form, "Grant me forgiveness,"
As the passerbys walked on, going about their lives, Thane's silhouette vanished.
---
Shepard was soon up and above within the maintenance catwalks, keeping tabs with Talid from below. Talid was saying his usual anti human talking points towards anyone who wanted to hear him. This time, it was with a group of turians and salarians listening to his grievances about the New Council.
"I'm on him Thane, he's talking to some voters," Shepard relayed to Thane within the comms. The comms were a bit fuzzy, but would have to do for the moment.
"Understood,"
"You're in position?"
"Yes," Thane quickly chirped back.
As Talid strolled away from the voters, Shepard followed from above. As did Thane. Eventually, Shepard soon found Talid again, conversing with another group of voters.
"Have you got him?" Thane asked. Shepard couldn't help but notice, however, that their comms were getting more static by the moment.
"Yes, looks like he's talking to another voter," Shepard tried to relay to Thane.
"Any sign of Kolyat?"
"No,"
"I'm moving to another position, ahead of him," Thane responded, then the comms grew silent once more.
From above, Shepard was soon within a night club, and spotted Talid talking with mercenaries. As Shepard saw this, she tried to update Thane, but was met with silence from the comms. Shepard tried to contact Thane again, this time going over regarding why Talid has grown recently paranoid. The comms, however, was now filled with static and silence from Thane. This prematurely ended any further conversation Shepard will have with her squad mate. Shepard cursed to herself, knowing what could possibly happen with Thane out of the loop. A part of her wondered if Thane could possibly be in danger. But she had to press forward, and pushed the thought aside. So Shepard moved on to try to reach Kolyat, unaware of Thane's whereabouts in the process.
---
Deep within the night club, was another drell staring at the politician.Kolyat, was right on his target's tail. The politician eventually left the nightclub, with Kolyat right behind him. As Talid and his bodyguard strolled back into their apartment, the shaking drell finally made his move. Without another moment, the lone drell quickly pulled out his gun to kill the krogan bodyguard. Talid was soon on the ground, frantically backing away from Kolyat. Kolyat, however, walked right over to the politician with his gun in hand, and fired. It all happened within seconds; a bleeding Talid lying dead before the assassin. Before anyone noticed, Kolyat quickly ran away from the scene and hopped back into the shuttle and into the restless night.
When Shepard arrived, it was much too late. Talid was already dead, and Kolyat was gone. Most notably, Thane was still gone as well. A knot soon grew within Shepard's stomach, knowing that Thane's sudden disappearance and the previous static within the comms was no coincidence.
Shepard eventually tried to ping Thane's location from their comms, and eventually made it to his final resting place. The father laid bleeding profusely within the darkest corner of the catwalks. He had stab wounds in his chest, which meant he was brutally attacked. Since Thane is an experienced assassin, Shepard quickly knew this attack had to have been a coordinated surprise killing performed by multiple assailants. Shepard's hands were now shaking as she tried to feel a pulse from Thane's neck. Much to her surprise, there was a slow but dying pulse. Thane slowly opened his eyes, meeting Shepard's. Seeing his bloodied face, Shepard briefly recalled the first time she saw Thane. Now, it seemed like ages ago. Never in a millennia did she imagine that the last time she will see speak to him would be like this.
"Is, is Kolyat safe?," Thane slowly said, his voice barely audible, "Did you manage to get to my son?"
"Yes," Shepard nodded, "He's safe, Talid is safe,"
"Good," Thane said, slowly going limp under Shepard's grasp. "I'm sorry Shepard, but I don't think I will be able to keep my promise,"
"It's okay, Thane," Shepard murmured.
"I can hear it, I can hear the waves, I can almost feel it --"
Before Shepard could respond, Thane fully went limp, giving away for the final time. Shepard knelt in shock, unable to process the sudden loss from a friend. Unable to process the broken promise he will thus never know.

So uh, what sort of questions can we ask? I guess this is directed at pelassarias Well, there really isn't a restriction on questions, and you can ask as many questions as much as you like per round, but players typically ask each other these questions:
Are you a council race? Are you an alien? Are you a biotic?
However, you're free to ask other questions if you prefer, as long as it's about some sort of characteristic about a role in game.
Also, the lightning round rules are still in place for this game, which means every round lasts five days with only one extension available per game. So far, three days have passed, which means you guys have 48 hours to ask questions and vote. An extension is available though, if needed.

Well, another day has passed. You guys now have about twenty four hours before the voting closes. An extension is available however, if you guys need it (which I think you guys might).
I'm going to nudge a couple of players as well to get things going. However, if there has only been a few votes cast by the time voting ends, renegade actions will be taken....

Or is something like that too direct? I just find the example questions um... bland? lol idk Also I assume anyone is free to answer as truthfully or falsely as they like? I feel like I need to go reread games I've played before to see how they go. Anyways, to answer seven and dragontartare 's question, I am Male. I'm not sure there's any info enough to place a vote on anyone for now, but I'm willing to listen and vote.
