So I finished doing everything on Kadara and have been going around mopping up some side quests but I am unsure what would be best to do next. Should I go tackle Hunting the Archon, go to Elaaden and/or H-047c or should I try to do as many of the allies and relationships missions as possible?

I usually finish as many quests as I can before going for the Archon's ship. This is what i recommend as well, as the story progresses quite a lot without giving you any gaps if the Archon's ship mission is done early. The best way to have a good flow is atleast do the loyalty quest for you LI and the crewmates you actually use a lot and definitely make sure to find the Asari and Turian Arks before you do so. So for me it means to do Cora's, Drack's and Vetra's quest before atleast and the Turian Ark. Liam, Peebee's and Jaals quest can wait. Hell you can get by ignoring Drack's quest as well before the Archons ship. Basically Li and sort out the Asari and Turian Ark, sort out their pathfinders etc. |

It seems there's a consensus in this thread. I agree that tackling the Loyalty Missions and Elaaden would be your next step. I don't even touch the Archon mission until the Cluster is otherwise settled. It makes the story flow better. My in-character rationale is that the Initiative must be put on the best possible footing as soon as possible. A showdown with the Archon is inevitable, but need not be rushed. We need unity, security, resources, and outposts immediately.

I generally think anything in 'allies and relationships' should be done before progressing the main quest, including founding all available outposts. Although you won't always miss out if you don't do them all every time, depending on exactly what and when.
As far as I can tell the other quests and tasks don't really matter all that much and could even be done after the main story is finished.
