Playstation Experience December 3-4 2016

Hopefully the floodgates aren't to the same extent as DAI was... I thought they released too much info, ruining some of the experience and left themselves open to criticism on things that changed and areas they failed to deliver on.

That's not their fault.  People should realize that a game in development has a tendency to change before release.

I agree but we know how many "BSNers" tend to (over)react. It'll happen and then we got to sift through dozens of bitch threads about how Bio duped them.

This is particularly why I've stopped all of my "SHOW ME DA GAME!" stuff.  They're gonna tell us about it November 7th, and that's pretty basically all I wanna hear.  Hopefully they'll go back into turtle mode after that.

I want this game to surprise me, not be another NMS.

That's my hope.  But if you remember the development of ME3, a couple'a producers came out and said (either before or after it came out, I can't recall), "The dev team loves playing MP.  That's when we knew we had a hit on our hands."

We haven't yet heard anybody say anything of the sort about MEAMP, and I can't really tell if that because of the turtling that's going on, or if it's simply not true.  If we're shown anything about the MP at all on N7 day, I guess we'll see.

I don't. I would love if they did what they did for DAI with MEA once N7 Day happens. I am not a fan of what they have been doing so far. 

Are you one of those individuals who likes to plan every detail of your roleplay down to who you'll romance?  I've gone that route before myself but I found my most enjoyable and surprisingly fun RPing experiences have come when I have minimal idea of the story, companions around, and who can be romanced with only a loose idea of the type of character I'll be.  DAI's saturation marketing campaign really diminished that.  Or course I have no one to blame but myself for not being disciplined enough to stay away during the heavy marketing push.


While I don't exactly want them to take the same approach of FO4 which provided almost no information prior to release, I don't want to know every main character and companion backstory and how to get onto their good side.  What I want to see is a bit of gameplay to see how closely the combat resembles to ME3 (hopefully it deviates only slightly but with greater difficulty,) and a couple shots of our companions with very little background provided so I don't end up biasing myself toward a certain RPing personality just because I want to be "friends" with companion X or "romance" companion Y.  And I'd prefer knowing next to nothing about the main plot.
