Think about it, homosexual and inner species relationships clearly aren't uncommon or taboo in Andromeda. Salarian don't have traditional relationships just fertility agreements. Asari can be involved in inner species relationships and still reproduce other asari, homosexual relationships also aren't a thing for them. Human's and Turian don't have this luxury, homosexual or inner-species relationships means no kids, or at least no humans and turians.

Right. Concern about sexuality per se is just silly.
As for the substance, asari don't seem to have a particularly high birth rate, although presumably they could raise this. (Do they use technological means, or simply control reproduction mentally) And salarians have always had their reproduction rate under rational control. In the very long term asari lifespans would give them a slight population edge over humans and turians, but salarians could handily outbreed everybody if they really tried.

And if we are going in that long term, then it will be the krogan who out breed everyone since they are slowly getting over the Genophage and have lifespans longer than even asari.

It's possible that the salarians will remove those cultural controls, afterall, the Andromeda Initiative is made up of a lot of people hoping for fresh starts away from the old ways and old cultural views. It's possible that salarians will decide to overthrow their cultural limits on reproduction.

Didn't these get defeated by bags of electromagnetic pulses? More likely the Geth will go nano and become invasive like the Borg: PREPARE!

Nah, they were only defeated because they were cursed to live in an universe that has Magic Space Wizards, in this case a kid with severe plot armor that somehow crashed into their ship with both him and his small ship(that we see get ripped to shreds elsewhere) unscathed right within a clear shot of the reactor which he shot and managed to escape to resulting explosion.

Even when Asari live for 1,000 years their reproduction is slowed CONSIDERABLY to compensate, or maybe it's just due to personal choice instilled by society. Not once in any of my playthroughs did I hear in-game that an Asari had like a hundred children. As far as we know Liara is a single child of two Matriarchs. I'm sure even if some Asari were baby crazy there would be some kind of reproductive laws in place to ensure efficient Colony growth.
Salarians though yeah I can see that. But they too are sticklers for rules and regulations.

I suppose it's possible that turkey baster technology is lost sometime between now and 2183. The Alliance seems to have lost all knowledge of expense accounts somehow -- Shepard can't just file a requisition for equipment, whoever he's working for -- and there's no evidence that the other Citadel races ever had that tech.
