Reviving the true spirit of co-op. I posted an earlier thread on the lance army. Here's a coupla fun platinum friendly pair ups.
IF you are
1) one of those autistic drones who hail from the world of call of duty
2) one of those autistic drones who prefers to jack yourself with a geth infiltrator and black widow on that 'no enemy access glitch' shit ledge in Firebase Hydra, ME3
Move the fuck on back to ME3 or call of duty. Go away and never darken MEA's doorstep again. Scram, scoot, GTFO.
If you have a coupla friends who are fairly good on platinum, give the following a shot.
Barricade Tech Army
Squad compostion - 2 Angara Exemplars, Human Sentinel and Sal Architect
Human sentinel - ( Rank 6 barricade with electric stun, Rank 6 Energy drain with recharge speed and TEAM DRAIN, rank 1 throw, rank 6 passive, rank 6 health, disruptor ammo, multicapacitor)
Angara Exemplar - (Rank 6 barricade with electric stun, Rank 6 energy drain with recharge speed and TEAM DRAIN, rank 1 overload, rank 6 passive, rank 6 health -squad DR, disruptor ammo, multicapacitor)
Salarian Architect - (Rank 6 barricade with electric stun, Rank 6 VI with close combat and missiles, Rank 6 incinerate with detonate, Rank 3 passive, Rank 5 health, disruptor ammo, multicapacitor)
Operate in pairs when you need to, but, come together often to start that tech orgy. Barricade yourselves on all sides and let those tech detonations flow incessantly. Multicapacitors and Barricades give you 140% shield recharge delay reduction. 3 Team drains should keep y'all softies plenty shield healthy. Architect needs to keep the vi up at all times. If beserkers start flaking you, slide around on your barricade and between teammate's barricades. If that Blaze Hydras walk through, fall/slide back and redeploy. Curb those autistic blackwidow whoring tendencies from the ME3 days and keep your barricading brotha alive.
Note, this requires the softer architect to be higher skilled. Good VI management is necessary. Another kit who synergizes well with this team is the Operator (Rank 4b,5b,6a invasion, rank 1 overload, rank 6 shield boost, rank 6 w/ elemental tech, rank 6b health).
Krogan DeathTrain
Squad Composition - 2 Mercs, 1 Krogineer, 1 Gladiator
Kro Merc ( Rank 6 flamethrower, Rank 6 flak, Rank 1 fortify, Rank 6 passive, Rank 6 Rage with INSPIRATIONAL)
Krogineer ( Rank 6 double incinerate, Rank 1 overload, Rank 6 turret w/ omilink and flamethrower, Rank 6 passive w/ ELEMENTAL TECH, Rank 6 Rage w/INSPIRATIONAL)
Gladiator ( Rank 6 armor/shield powered nova, Rank 1 pull, Rank 6 AF with radius/damage attractor/shield replenishment, Rank 6 passive, Rank 6 Rage w/INSPIRATIONAL)
You don't operate in pairs here. All four of ya need to be together at all times. When you're hanging out within Inspirational's radius (it is quite large), all 4 of you get 120 DR and your kill radius for rage is a lot bigger. All four of ya will be constantly in rage and the gladiator's AF will constantly keep building up your shields. Elemental tech, Double incin, 2 flaks, 2 flamethrowers, 2 sustained fires, AF debuff, etc..... nothing can survive your group assault. Always keep the turret up for splitting agro. You can actually hold your ground without scrambling on a platinum hack with this squad. This is by far the most adrenalin filled block of mayhem you will encounter in a co-op setting.
Note, the Gladiator is required to be a higher skilled cat who pays attention to positioning. If its a high powered enemy like a progenitor, catch him in your field radius so the other three krogan get a 40% damage boost to all their powers/weapons as well. It lets you whittle down big game quicker. Keep in mind, that AF's shield replenishment radius extends way beyond the field's radius itself when something dies inside it. Hence, you can cover the other 3 krogan quite easily. But, If the gladiator is weak, replace with an extra Merc (brute force can compensate if you ain't quite the tactician). As for the Krogaurd, nah, that boy doesn't meet the Deathtrain's requirements. Leave him outta this squad.
