When on Elaaden Nomad stopped and sparks were coming out of it. It wouldnt go at all. When I fast forwarded to another point Nomad was still the same so I had to go back to Tempest. Now when I go to another planet it is still the same even when I deploy it from the station. It sparks all the time and will not move. I cannot run around all over the place to get anywhere so am stuck. Tried reloading but NOMAD will not go. My saves before this happened is a while back as I've done side missions where I dont have to go far. HELP

Don't remember the name of it as I've not run into that quest on any of my playthrough's myself as yet. But I have seen it on youtube. I think it's called Out of Gas now that I think of it.

In 14 runs, I sorta got a bugged version of it once (which was my first indication of the mission), got it for real two other times.
If you've left Elaaden, you need to go back, hit the nearest forward station (based on your google search of the mission) and hoof it to the oasis from there. When you get to the oasis, you will have a choice, with respect to the person you encounter. I've done both choices, the obvious choice is the one to take (IMO). Either choice completes the mission.
You don't need to hoof it back to the Nomad, you can fast travel to a forward station and repair the Nomad there.

Yeah I'd heard of the mission I'd heard of the mission thanks to youtube just not ran into it myself yet. I probably will on one of my playthrough's eventually though for example in my first couple of playthrough's I never ran into the Angarran AI until I explored more and did more of the missions on Voeld I think it just depends on how far and how much you go exploring in each playthrough though. Same as in DAI as I recently only discovered a couple of new things in recent playthroughs that I didn't remember seeing before. One was in the main game the other was in the Jaws of Hakkon DLC.

It is a quest, there should be a NPC in the area where you broke down and completing a minor event where they are will resolve the issues with the Nomad. I would suggest loading a save prior to porting back if you have one for I think you might have to walk all the way back out there to resolve the quest if you don't.

You needed to listen to the ensuing conversation between Ryder, Kallo and Gil. If that dialogue was bugged, I can understand some confusion. You likely need to check online for the best forward station to which to return. (East of the Remnant Derelict, north of some remnant sites and a scav site.) It's a long walk, so I hope you've already tamed the heat by activating the vault. I like this quest okay, but I can imagine it would be infuriating under these circumstances.

In the quest "Out of gas", an outlaw fries the Nomad's electronic circuitry with an EMP; you have to get to him on foot and you'll have the choice between paying him 500 creds for a spare part or directly shooting him and getting that spare part free of charge. The quest starts when you travel along the northern border of Elaaden map, around the center.

But with nuclear weapons you have to be far away from the blast or else you end up dead. With the BFG 9000, you get to watch the person get turned to bloody slag, up close and personal.
