Gotta say I’m looking forward to a lot of psvr games. Skyrim VR and Doom was amazing and there’s coming a bunch out in 2018 like The Inpatient, Bravo Team and a lot more other titles I can’t remember in my head right now lol but there’s a lot of them in the way!

Metro Exodus definitely has me intrigued.
The Wolf Among Us: Season 2 is one I can't wait for.
I pre-ordered Vampyr, I hope it's good.
I was looking forward to Red Dead Redemption II, but I unfortunately no longer have a console. I don't see myself buying one any time soon. There are other games, especially for PS4 that looked really good as well. I'd love a Fallout 5 (or spin-off) and anything Dragon Age.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux Never played the original game for the DS but I'm into anything SMT that isn't Devil Survivor, with remixed Meguro soundtrack and sci-fi edge to it as opposed to the traditional apocalyptic and Tokyo scenario.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 Words cannot express how excited I am for this game, a proper Valkyria game.
Catherine Full Body I doubt this game will release in western territories in 2018, given its winter release in Japan, but I'm excited nonetheless to jump back into Catherine again with lots of new story content and gameplay improvements.
Bayonetta 3 More Bayoneta, gimme, gimme, gimme!
Fire Emblem for Switch Assuming it is out next year then I'm excited for a Fire Emblem on a console, hopefully something akin to Fates and Awakening. But with a better story.
Dragon Quest IX Dragon Quest VIII was great so I'm game for more Dragon Quest.
Spider Man by Insomniac Looks good but I'm not completely sold on its gameplay yet, Spider Man 2 set the expectations pretty high for Spider Man games.
Hokotu Ga Gotoku A Yakuza game but it's Fist of the North Star, it looks incredible!

As of today: The World Ends With You: Final Remix. Now I have three reasons to buy a Switch! (The others being that the main series Pokemon and Ace Attorney games are moving there.) I've been thinking of replaying it recently anyway, and some new content and the opportunity to play on my TV screen will be very welcome indeeed. (I wonder how they're going to deal with the part where you win a fight by closing the DS screen though?)

I hate the Playstation controller since the Xbox... My baby hands and the 360 were made for each other.
Now that I have a PS4 Pro, having to endure that controller again is painful. Quite literally. That right stick position, ugh.
Still no other upcoming game on my short list. But that's ok.

I would be looking at the Far Cry 5 reviews, because it will have a flexible lead character that can be a female & can be played on the PC. I have literally no idea what else to expect, it seems Wild West type of setting... anyway, I will keep my eyes open for more info on it.

And that's what "scares" me a little bit, I hope it doesn't end up being boring, I never finished 4 because of it (and because it felt like a Far Cry 3.5...). Lots of guns and shooting. Wipe out outposts, plant your flag. Repeat. It can be funny, but it can also be pretty boring after a while, I'm still interested though, more so because it's been a while since I played one.

I think the same will be the case for 5.

The last one was Primal, no idea how that game was, but ever since the first FC, all games were strictly first person, I'm pretty sure FC 5 is no different.

Since it takes place in my back yard I have to get it. From what I've seen they've done a good job with the setting.

So far the game I am most looking forward to is Pillars Of Eternity: Deadfire. I backed the hell out of it on fig because the first installment was so good already. I've been a big fan of Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Icewind Dale 1 & 2, but there is no alternative now so Pillars of Eternity is saving my freaking RPG gaming life! Besides Pillars, there is also Metro : Exodus. I like the Metro series very much, its my favorite post apocalyptic setting, though this time they are going with an open world. Which makes me really uneasy, I am not a fan of open world games, they are always extremely tedious and repetitive. I hope they can pull it off, but I remain skeptical. Last but not least Agony. I was one of the first people to back this game because I find their depiction of hell really damn good, it seems really frightening, gory and simply tabu-less (babies getting crushed by rocks: check, naked demon chicks : check, ultra-gore: check) Which makes it really refreshing, plus it totally gives the political correctness crowd and big publisher conformists the middle finger. On top of it, I am simply a fan of the horror and stealth genre so this is right up my alley. So 3 games I am looking forward too, thats not bad I guess. Thats 3 more than last ear.

I want Bayonetta 2 and 3 but not so badly that i'll buy a Nintendo. A fair point, but personally I find the Xbox controller to be the best for Bayonetta. The first Bayonetta was also pure garbage on a Sony platform. Anyway, you're never gonna see the series on Playstation, because Nintendo were the only good guys who wanted to put money into the series so it could get two sequels now. You're missing out, is all.

Ohhhhh... I'll keep an eye on that controller. But it's probably going to be expensive. And I'm not sure it's worth it when 90% of my gaming is done on PC.
But thanks for that link!

Just found Post Scriptum a few days back.
Supposedly out in Summer 2018, it's an online FPS set in WWII's Operation Market-Garden (and in the 1st Airborne's sector to boot! So expect Arnhem, Wolfheze, Oosterbeek and the like, supposedly recreated to detail) with British forces againist the Germans.
The game is strongly based off Squad, which itself is a semi-realistic modern-day first person shooter born out of Project Reality, the BF2 mod I never played. That one has been out a while now, and tackles modern conflicts with RU/INS (Middle-east insurgents), US/INS, RU/GUE (Chechen or something), RU/US and possibly some combinations I forgot about on massive maps with large player counts (no, I'm not calling them massive until they go 100v100).

I literally created this account just to give you some reassurance that Metro: Exodus will still very much be a linear experience just with some sandboxy areas thrown throughout. My guessing is that we'll be using that train featured so prominently in the trailers to traverse the country while stopping every once in a while to restock and refuel. Do not fret, it's not fully an open world game. It's definitely my most anticipated title of the year. Absolutely love the Metro games.
