What do you think of Peebee's Writing?

Peebee's 'I am a free-bird' attitude feels too forced at times for me to really like her. It didn't feel like she added much of anything funny/insightful/interesting during Nomad banter either, unlike most of the others.

At best I'm neutral. Still trying to figure out why some of the people wanting to airlock Liam for his stunt don't want to do the same to Peebee after what she pulled though.


Edit:  Also, I absolutely hate her loyalty mission.  All the stupid steps and running around, and then it wasn't even fun.  (Well, shooting her ex was satisfying, at least.  :heh: )

PeeBee is the Sera of MEA. Really fucking annoying at first but if you give her a chance she's pretty cool.

I've never before hated a squadmate so much. Sure Liam was a dipshit but by the time you meet Peebee the retard asari his only major offense was "shu eem in da face!" This fucktard makes you wish teamkilling were possible in MEA and a major highlight as to why there's a severe need for a more renegade Ryder. I wanted to verbally trash her then space her. She's got some funny lines but outside of that (for every single character not named Alec/Scott Ryder) she's nothing.Kill it with fire and never bring this back. Liara is a good character by comparison.



Well deserved.

I liked her overall but couldn't take her seriously she was way too light-hearted and superficial for my taste. Liara was better she had a more balanced combination of light-hearted moments combined with proper professionalism. Liara is still my favorite asari. I was hoping for a badass Asari commando but instead we got Cora who was quite bad in being an Asari. Sometimes I wished these two characters were switched.

I didn't like the character but it wasn't because of the writing, just a personality thing.

Pretty sure I know what I like and don't like but thanks anyways.

Peebee is very funny and I like her exploration/uncover things style, but some lines kind of got to me.

It's making babies!!!

I kind of prefer the "made some friends", or "sending in reinforcements" type lines.

I haven't played the Singleplayer, haven't even created a character yet and never will, but my favourite part of PeeBee's story was when she held the Carnifex backwards.

When Bioware first showed, at the time was the stowaway, my first thought is they change the name to Clown Effect or Circus Effect. 

Later its revealed she is not a team player. Ok. This character will never be recruited. Unfortunately the player doesn't have a choice. Why would I want her on the roster?

Then in a video she is seen wearing belly button armor. So that's what you took from ME2, Bioware? 

Before the game was released, I already decided I wanted nothing to do with this character. Not only does she look silly with a paint smear on her eyes , and wears belly button armor, she's not a team player. 

After trying to activate the console, I decided to walk around. I see a shuttle. I was surprised no one mentioned it. I walk around trying to find who put it there. Then I scanned the glyphs.

Just as I activated the console, the stowaway shows up. Hold up. Why didn't she do that the first time when I was trying to activated the console? She had to have been watching Ryder since she/he arrived. So why show up at that moment the way she did? Was it because Bioware thought it would be cool? 

In the vault, Kosta wil say, "10 credits says she ends up in a pit of spikes", probably the best thing he says in the game. It too bad my Ryder couldn't say, "10 credits say I don't give a **** about her".

The part with the escape pod was uncalled for. It's just Bioware putting in something that would be cool. It was stupid. The stowaway will say, "Kallo won't find a safe place to land the tempest." That is incorrect. When Ryder asks Kallo about landing, Kallo will say it will take a while. The peepee asari was impatient. So she uses the escape pod. Obviously she doesn't care about Ryder, the other squadmate or the crew on the tempest. That's right. She's not a team player. Why is this character in the game?

Overall the character is crap. 

Sera's behavior is excusable since it matches her concept.  Her whole deal is to go around robbing people and acting out revenge fantasies.  She doesn't have to be brilliant, just cunning.

Liked the character concept, liked that she looked different than other Asari before her, liked that she was different than Liara, Aria or Samara but, man, her dialogue needed polishing...too many human idioms. Also, the Kelinda story arc was average at best...it needed to make her grow and mature but it just ended up being a missed opportunity. For ME:A 2, I think they would be best served having her be a scout or recon contact for possible Remnant sites and visitor to the Tempest as it would fit her character better.
