Q. What led you to choose this song for your vid?

The lyric's refrain "What about us?" immediately led me to think this question could easily (or should) be asked by any LI at the end of a ME game, even if just as a romance 'cliff-hanger' as a final scene. This question certainly deserved to be asked at the end of ME3! Of course no LI can ask Shepard such a question when he/she's dead. Ashley and MaleShep forever!!! XOXOX

Mostly I heard the song when it first dropped and liked it a lot. I was a little worried about using it as people who don't like Andromeda might construe it as being "whiny." (Cue  the complaints about "kids these days," etc.) I can see where you're coming from with regard to the love interests as they are left hanging at the end of the game, but in the context of this video I thought of the song as more of a cry of frustration from people who feel their leadership has 1) failed them and 2) doesn't care.

It's the start of us waking up, come on! Are you ready? I'll be ready! made me think of everyone psyching themselves up to overcome their challenges instead of waiting for someone to do it for them.

The song ends on a sad note rather than a triumphant one, with the struggle still ahead rather than taken care of already. So I felt the last 1/3rd of the song was less fitting to the images, but I tried to wrap it up with a changing of the guard, with the failed authority figures in Heleus (Nexus, Kett) being replaced by the Pathfinder's allies.

I had a hard time choosing Sara's LI for the video, because images of her kissing Liam on his couch or Jaal confessing his love actually were more photogenic and fit the beat better. In the end I went with Vetra because she was my Sara's actual LI and she hadn't gotten enough screentime. Other characters were also shortchanged, sorry, Cora and Gil! And Scott kind of fell out of the last half of the video because I've only gotten through 25% of the game with him so far.
