Anyone else getting an obnoxious pop up from “amazon?” It only happens whe I’m browsing the forums on my iPhone, but it happens EVERY TIME I’m looking at topics. It’s clearly a scam, claiming I won a $1000 amazon gift card. I gave to kill the browser to be able to get rid of it. This is the only site I’m seeing it on.

Happen to me every time I visiting the forum with my smartphone. Please, try free boards to move that they removing scripted advertises. It is very annoying and a permanent reason why I will not deactivate my adblock and script block (plus anti (antiadblock) scripts) on PC. The ads are not only Amazon, German Electrical stores like MediaMarkt are happen.
That is an absurdity. This goes too far, to take the control of the browser from the user. Most of them using terrible German.
Be aware that vanilla AdBlock are not made to prevent advertising on websites on the whole, this little one image buttons from Amazon are generally allowed. That is not the problem, the scripts are the problem and the reason why users will not deactivating AdBlock, when the ads take over the control.

This is a result of malicious adware causing redirects, and is a ProBoards problem unfortunately.
Does using tapatalk prevent this?

If you are using Chrome on Android/iPhone, help me test this. Go to your browser, and copy this line and paste it into your navbar: chrome://flags/#enable-framebusting-needs-sameorigin-or-usergestureSet the first option to Enabled. This seems to help, but every time Chrome updates the flag gets reset, and I do believe that some advertisers have circumvented this already... But it can be helpful. I just changed the setting. I'll report back once I notice...anything Hopefully you notice less Amazon prizes, less WARNING! messages, less BS. Since I turned it back on, no issues. However, every time Chrome updates from Play Store it seems this flag gets reset. Either that, or some sophisticated JavaScript is able to reset the flag occasionally... So, bookmark that address, you will be going back to that setting until Chrome adds this into the normal control menu. |

Google may have hired some "working as intended" former BW devs It does seem that it occurs most often when I am checking my notifications. If there is bad code getting added to this site/ProBoards, that is a favorite attack vector. |

My incidence of this is much less, and it appears that Google is actually trying to clamp down on this shit. Instead of getting a total redirect most of the time, the browser breaks and stops at loading the redirect URL.
I will never thank Google for this though; they are the jackasses who started all of this trash.
