Just curious. I am getting bored with my Falcon for all the kits builds. Acolyte is lame. I feel I need stagger to make this kit viable at all off-host. Falcon beats Venom in this regard, so that isn't a build I am looking for. Maybe I am wrong? What say BSN?

This is my glorious Hunter. He hath currieth many a pug through the valley of death. Note: I left the last evo of incinerate to decide 4 everyone themselves. I like both of them. Granted ammo changes from IA to CA obviously. Melee build I tried: Build . I didn´t really like it, but still worked okay.

Depends. I've spent a lot of respecs on the guy. 6/6/6/5/3, no submission net, Arc Pistol, melee, all kinds of stuff.
My fav staggerstick is the Graal which is a go to on nearly all of my melee builds. Oddly, I don't remember ever using it on the VHE. You could do a pretty effective melee build, or a weapons damage/tech burst build depending on how you spec Bloodlust/passives. Disruptor Ammo will be a must.
I think I'll have to spend at least two more respecs now.

My normal Hunter build, I've also gone with the Executioner or Phalanx with AP rounds. If you don't want Disruptor just take AP and throw the Power Mag or Extended Mag mods on. Melee build is similar to Urizen 's, but I go damage barrel and either IA or Disruptor depending on the faction. Also, CLAYMOAR!!!!!!!
I mostly pug and never had too many issues off host with him, overall a pretty good kit.

I use a Graal with Omniblade, and generally Incendiary ammo for combos.
I stack all the melee bonuses, and stick three points in Submission Net despite the fact that I never remember to use it.
From there, it's running and head-chopping for four or five waves, which gets faster and easier as the bloodlust stacks. As the bossier synch-kill units start to show up, I mix in a lot more Graal and fire explosions. I spend a lot of time on ramps wailing on Banshees while relying on my bloodlust to offset their damage. There is something satisfying about beating a Banshee to death, when you can get away with it.

Considering a new manifest as OnlyPlayMeVorchaEngineer... Updated my .txt Graal is a good idea. I always Falcon because I like to spam SubNet, even off-host, because it is hilarious to me.

i like one shot weapons on him, to spam incinerate and reload hide. Executioner and kishock being my fav, but claymore stays a must from time to time. 3 in subnet for solos, not sure i tried a max subnet on him. Raider indeed might be fun and good.+Subnet is supposed to deal quite a good dot, but i never felt it did it in practice.

Raider indeed might be fun and good. Fits perfectly with my rhythm. Empty clip in face, reload hide thru inc, reload cancel, empty clip in one more face, reload cancel, begin cycle anew. SN is in this case just a get out of jail card, in case a fantum decides she wants to tangle with you or you want to keep that pesky hunter at bay.

Favourite Vorcha Incendiary Claymore is also acceptable. Submission Net, Tech Bursts, Disruptor Ammo, and Incinerate DoT are your crowd control, and there's a lot of it. Submission net's AoE staggers non-Shielded (whilst doing good shield damage). I don't see this being particularly lag sensitive with that much CC. If running Claymore, it's simple: Use submission net on all the girls and blow your load in their face. Gets so hot, Incinerate causes even more explosive heat. It's HAWT. Also: Martial Artist, don't be afraid to slap dat arse. Omni-blade Graal is also viable. Versatile build.

I feel it is an underappreciated weapon! Plus, I find charge weapons mix nicely with certain melee builds.

+Subnet is supposed to deal quite a good dot If you spec for Barrier/Shield damage it does some pretty good DoT. I swear for Kill Them when I had that spec, two or three Sub Nets took down an Atlas because I never shot it and it just blew up.

Sometimes, atlas are damaged for whatever reason . (23000 shield and 21000 armor ...so more like 10 subnet , or i really should pay attentionto the DoT !)

That said it's not going well and I'm mainly focusing on Plat atm to get more consumables and finish maxing my manifest lolconsole problems I have 4 weapons at VIII or better, I'm at almost 1200 hours and I just want to have a damn maxed manifest . Once I get my gpu sorted out and used to kb+m I'm going to do N7 on PC as well.

Visually I really do like the appearance of a Falcon w/ Omniblade on a Hunter. But since you wanted something different, I also find the CAR to be a nice match for him.
A Disciple with zap ammo is another fun stagger machine.

Use Incendiary Ammo/Reegar Cheese with Adr III works too well with Incinerate. Deletes bosses uber quick. I also run a Claymoar variant with sub net for the lulz. This is actually one of my favorite classes because of the base movement and blood lust speed buff combined with an ADRIII mod, you can fly across the map.
