Haxn14 I feel like I have seen this name on here before, joined their game in progress, I think they were playing a male Quarain Engineer which was useful seeing as we were up against Geth, GG

Had the pleasure of playing with a Tonycmac (PC), which looked familiar. Took a couple of days to connect to Tonymac here. So if I recall correctly:
It was a bronze (yeah, yeah) I had already started playing a BatSent (White Hazard?). And he didn't interrupt my submission net casts at all, essentially letting me call the shots on all those.
I think there are a lot of us who just like to clear Challenge Mastery's, but very few who respect that others are doing it as well. So, my thanks to you, Tonymac!

Nowadays I run a lot in PUGland. After I do a round of promotions I usually pug Bronzes up to level 16, then Silvers up to level 20. After that, if any of the gang from my friends list are on we go fire it up to higher levels. Sadly, pretty much erryone is retired.
I do see a lot of new players these days though - I guess they come from the ME:LE to see what the MP is all about.
One of the hardest things to do in this game is to NOT interrupt Batarian Heavy Melee or Submission nets. It takes patience.
GGs Doc!

Bronze Really ? Does that clear anything but waves (challenge wise) ? ;p If you do a solo, or just start and not have someone join for first few waves.
I find bronze solo'ing to be best way for me to clear challenges. ...
... hmm, that should probably be my entry in this thread.

I do bronze solos to finish off challenges. Usually just up to wave 3.
The past few months I've been doing a lot of silvers for random challenges. Lots of waves-completed on various kits and a few weapons I've avoided. Kishok can go fuck itself. Fuck I hate that weapon. Rather take the Shuriken. (Both of which I've used a bunch the last month.)
I still find the PUGs in silvers to be somewhat iffy though. I'm at the point where I'll alt-tab and have a toke if I see another goddamned AIU-Reetard or TGI-Carrier trying to scorewhore on silver outside the hack/probe. They must think they're so amazing they taste like raisins.
Also had an asshat Salarian sniper waiting for my Subnets. Normally I don't worry too much if it's occasional, but the guy was specifically waiting for me to drop them, over and over. That meant no bloodlust so, surprise surprise, I die and he gets no more subnets. I moved sides (we were in FB:London) and he has the audacity to follow me around. Didn't stick around that match for long.
That said, as someone else mentioned above, I think there are a few newbies again and helping some people who are obviously genuinely trying has been fun. That and the occasional volus pocket-healer. Wasn't expecting so many in silver but I got no complaints. Had one trailing my Vorcha Engineer that I was mostly meleeing with. Was quite fun, maybe not the best combo what with my low shields, but he was specced for Damage Reduction which was helpful, and it was just fun seeing the crazed volus running after me. I got the distinct impression his mentality was, "you'll die when I let you die." Shieldboosting me for one or two waves sure, but I had an AMIII and that Volus had to have some determination to keep up with my crazy Vorcha blitz. WeI got us into lots of fun trouble I otherwise wouldn't have without him there.
Vorcha light melee is one of those things that never gets old, just hungover then ready again in a bit.

On a more serious note, i m only realizing now that i score challenge point (gun, power, or whatever) faster on gold (more specifically that it s widely the case, not just for a few challenges), cause stuff kills enemy faster... Are u telling me it s even faster on bronze/silver ? Arent the points vaguely proportional to enemy HP ?

You are "faster on gold" ...than on Platinum?
On your final question:
XP pts go with 1.2/1.6/2x for Silver/Gold/Pt vs. Bronze
Health goes with 1.5/2.25/2.93 (mostly)
So proportionally more health (thus TTK) vs pts at higher levels (worse for scoring). Plus Platinum has a higher ratio of bosses, which have lower Pt/health ratio's, slowing down further.
But which is optimal for you will all depend on your ability to deal out damage. If you find you are wasting time waiting for enemies at lower difficulty, you can probably be more efficient at higher difficulty. And there are higher wave budgets with difficulty, which means less downtime for given pts (between waves and games).
If however you are me, and are cowering in cover, or running around the map screaming like a little girl at higher difficulties, then you probably will be more efficient at Bronze.

Fewer enemies have shields/armour/barriers on lower difficulties so it's easier to get points for things like Pull and SubNet.
For weapon challenges it's a mixed bag. Gold Atlases are great bullet sponges, but Silver opens up a different avenue. Because incoming damage is so low you can facetank longer. More uptime on your weapons, particularly weapons that don't have AP.
I find it all comes down to the same thing though...
Teammates. If I'm with 3 BSNers on Silver things are going to die so fast it'd be a monumental waste of time. (Hell I've done plats that were like that) But the reality is far far different in PUGland. Silver has a lot of weird builds and people learning.
For instance, last night I joined a silver. The host was a kroguard with a reegar. In the first wave he had 10x the score of the other players when I GIP'd in. I promptly left. That, that would be a waste of time.
Alternatively, I GIP'd into a silver a month or so back with a volus and a prime. In that case, with the puggernaut and the volus healing, my ability to get points went through the roof. Not only am I doing most of the damage, I have someone focusing the enemy for AoE and I'm being healed increasing uptime.

Nice You are "faster on gold" ...than on Platinum? Yes Now i feel stupid, it was pretty obvious stuff, and i feel i took note few years back but forgot. Only way plat is a good deal is for map mastery. that s pretty slim Then silver must be a better bargain for unoptimal builds and power and shitty guns, but i prefer to stay away as it gives bad habits. Even Bronze TSOl predator must be the way to go.

Had the best game ever with Andy last night. No one ever went down, I absolutely didn't almost get sync'd by a praetorian on the ramp rolling the wrong way. No one died three times in under a minute to scion grenade spam either. It was glorious. Some of our best work really. And to think I was completely entirely 110% sober the entire match. Such a nice full extraction too. Thank heavens no one got killed 1 sec before liftoff. That'd suck for that to happen to anyone...
The match just could not have gone better.
(But really, GG again.)

Can't remember if they're a regular here or not but I just dropped into a gold Geth London pub match that had slaughterback1 in it right as the extraction wave started. Easiest money I've ever made, that I didn't actually need.

Had some fun lulzy matches tonight and saw some faces. Couldn't find a plat or gold earlier so I fired up my host gold/glacier(H)/Geth on my krogan vanguard melee build. Could tell my hellfire-anvil laptop wasn't happy but ehh... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ En59land(sp?) popped in for some asarigasms and headbutts. Then we ran into each other in a GiP but I think it bugged. Alfonsedode GiP'd into the same one a bit after, we left and got in a few golds. In our second match the damned reactor door shut partway again during a Drone objective. Alfonsedode graciously turned the thing on again while we headbutted from opposite sides of the door. (And I popped a pack.) I got a pretty picture too before we fixed it. That said, the rest of that match was bugged a bit. Reactor never touched me, the door went down again for a bit, and I couldn't take cover at all. (Luckily I didn't need it. )

GGs lvca_gr. Second one was laggy af but I ran with it.
Then my laptop died at the end there in white. Which was a bit of a surprise given I thought the power cord was in but the thing just fell out. I dunno if my port is stripped or the connector on the adapter. Boo...

Briefly saw the message before it died Vormav, laggy does sound better than missile glitching.
