I noticed yesterday name jadedragonmtr who joined in glacier with me, eng59land and some low level volus. We got the job done and volus got easy credits for his first equipments. He even raised his Tempest 2 to 3.

The lag was real, but those were still fun games.

Couple weeks ago, ran into our friend Shampoohorn several times over several days.

As usual, the great Zerfidius is still a melee mangling monster, zero fucks to give he is going to punch or headbutt something. Love that guy

Have run into none of you lately though. Great difficulty even finding matches, and my NAT is "open" according to Xbox Console Companion, which has been my issue finding lobbies in the past (was not open, was restricted).

Don't see Shady that much anymore in pug land. Remember having a hard time killing stuff. The guy is darn brain surgeon.

I think this was an alt for the old master, but maybe not. I landed in a lobby with 3 nice guys chatting about Snap Cheez. One said it was, paraphrasing "the best power in the game by far". I texted "ummmmmm".

SylarN7X and another were AIUs, the third was a TGI, and me the BatSol.

I think Sylar just chilling, but I did double their scores which were evenly distributed. He got to solo the end of wave 7 or 8 after I got eaten by a Praet, so I texted "nice to see the old master in action".

I returned the favor in wave 9, think he let himself get stomped or new manifest doesn't have a lot of gels... couldn't get there in time but I cleaned up quickly and that was that.

This is not me saying I am a better player than Sylar. I believe that I am better than I used to be, and he may be a little rusty, and I think if it came down to 1v1babby he'd probably roast me. I am saying that Snap Cheez is not the best power (which he stayed silent about, another indication he was entertained by listening to newbies). That is obviously, and sadly, Tactical Cloak. Snap Cheez is awesome, but I would argue with the scoreboard that Inferno nades are just as nasty as SC.

The real question I have after thinking about their conversation is, what is the best power after TC?

Ignoring Talon Merc mines, I guess it is Recon Mine, then it gets harder and more subjective. Or I'm dumb. Thoughts? Snap Freeze is probably next, then Reave/Overload/Lift Nade/??? in no particular order

Jon-IRL (?) often enough
alfonsedode occasionally
and yourself.

Rarely I will see the likes of frank_is_crank or HamleticTortoise.

If it's not the above names it will be kurupirka, Mentle777, PassionsTyr, BeeAI and a few others.
Do seem to be seeing newcomers still.

Oh well, after 10 years it's not really surprising.

I did run into andy_3_913  on Xbox and PC a few times over the years.

Recall the last pug I saw him in being a few months ago when I was using a Geth trooper on Firebase Hydra and he was using an asari or something. 

I ran into CEBK and null2008 for a few matches over the weekend.
