Well, they were probably polite in their curses but apparently fireball happy when they cannot reach an agreement lol. Like that one time where architects of Sylaise can't agree on each other on deciding the right color of glass to adorn a building they made in honor of June XD.. (tresspasser codex, iirc) Ah, but that was a "friendly debate", you see. The kind where one elf's knives make friends with the other elf's insides! I love the fact that DA's ancient elves are so hot-headed. It's a nice change from classic elves. Just because someone has lived for a really long time, doesn't necessarily grant them impulse control. If anything, being accustomed to immortality makes everyone take crazy risks. I guess they assume they'll respawn if they die. Also I suppose they're probably shades, so even though they're immortal they don't have a good concept of "waiting" or "time management". Like, they all pretend to have these grand, long-running schemes, but as soon as they rub uthenera out of their eyes they get sidetracked by the first elf butt that passes their field of view.

LoL, "friendly debate" indeed I kinda like the idealism where one gets wiser as you grow older. But thing is, being wise is a matter of choice, not something that you automatically atyain just because of the added years And since 'growing old' isn't something that ancient elves have to experience, I'm starting to think they'd tend to take for granted things they have. They are the forever young people, with many2 ideas and ambition. And when you'd get to feel tired of all the s**ts in life, you'd take a VERY long nap and just wake up one day after feeling fully rested. Maybe it's just the romantic in me talking. I'd guess the ancients couldn't grasp the concept 'fragile beauty' like the modern thedosians could : you'd get to appreciate life because it is limited to you. Appreciate that special bond with your loved ones while time lasts and cherished the memories of journeying life together.

Did it happen to all elves at the same time? Did it begin with the first generation after the Veil, the pre-Fall parents outliving their children? Did ancient elves age, but then return after death good as new?

So now that Andromeda is out, how unrealistic would it be to hope for a DA4 teaser on e3 this year?

So now that Andromeda is out, how unrealistic would it be to hope for a DA4 teaser on e3 this year? Probably quite unrealistic - we maybe get some sort of hint somewhere, but I don't expect any official mention, much less a trailer. Heck, with Secret IP being delayed past March 2018 I wonder if we'd see anything from Bioware at upcoming E3.

The only surprise, to me, was that they have a sense of humor.

The only surprise, to me, was that they have a sense of humor. If The Masked Empire is anything to go by, I'd call the Elvhen overly sensitive little bitches. Anyone who was anyone cried themselves into Uthenera and left the common folk to fend for themselves just because they couldn't handle the Veil. This is the major reason I want Solas to fail. Between the Evanuris almost destroying the world and the remnants of the Elvhen letting the rest fall, why would anyone want to do a re-roll? What kind of People is he saving? Because it sure doesn't sound like the modern elves. I imagine that if the People do come back and the modern elves survive, the latter will just be enslaved again. Plus, I don't for a second believe Solas will be able to keep the Evanuris locked up, since Mythal wants them dead. Seriously, the only good thing that bald fail whale has accomplished is indirectly creating the Inquisition. At least he's pretty.

That didn't happen after the Veil dropped - that happened after the murder of Mythal. And we don't even know why those elves have entered Uthenera - it may be leaving common folk to their fate, or may be accomplishing some sort of task that required them to do so. Heck, since it happened after murder of Mythal we can't even say if them entering uthenera was voluntary, or maybe an order from other Evanuris. ...Yes, because the world without Evanuris has shown to be so much more mature. Whatever the elves have hidden in Golden City, it's seven Tevinter magisters - travelling through Fade, only to display Tevinters' power - who have unleashed the plague that is slowly poisoning the world. The big lesson that appears to be emerging so far is that both modern and ancient people aren't really that different. That's assuming that Solas will release Evanuris back, which we don't yet know. In fact, we don't even know the specificity of his plans, or even "what kind of People" he's saving. Watch out, the answer may surprise you.

I bet the Elvhen did that all the time.
"Wow, I really enjoyed that last book he wrote." "Yeah, I can't wait for the sequel!" "When's it coming out?" "I think he said...maybe a hundred years from now." "Cool! Thanks!" *uthenerates*

Spirits spill around the veil making shapes. Reality from writing! Varric: I've got fans in the Fade? Well, that's something. Shame I'll never meet them.

I'm sure they had their ways to block entrance into their dreams, conceal their presence in the Fade or their own pocket dimension, clean up remnants of thoughts and so on.

I am hopeful that DA4 Solas, if we encounter him, will look much as he did in Trespasser, yes. I would love if he'll grow some hair but I imagine some people prefer that his bald. I wouldn't mind baldness but I can't shake the feeling that he is only bald egg because they were too lazy to make him some hair. It bothers me for all this years. But I agree he looked much hotter in Trespasser. I really need another DA but it's so silent about it...

I recall the devs mentioning somewhere that they've tried multiple hairstyles for Solas only to figure out that a 'bold, bald head' is a proper look for him. I assume there's a lore component to it (we see a lot of Sentinel in Temple of Mythal being bald), but also, it may have something with a certain popular show the protagonist of which made baldness 'fashionable' again, as well as easily identifiable with peaceful, meditative practices from the East (it really is no coincidence that Solas wears his wolf pelt over one shoulder, too):

Have you done a Sumalee!Lavellan playthrough? Alix does a great job, but I'm always a little sad that Sumalee is less popular for elves. Her wyvern pit performance is stunning, and most people won't get to experience it. No, not yet. I just love british accents so much taht so far, all my characters were british. I heard Sumalees voice in videos though and she does do a good job too. Just thought, Alix always sounds so angry with Solas. I just did the quest, where Cole decides to become more human or more spirit - with another character, a human mage. I do understand, where Solas comes from, but I never can make Cole more spirit, I like him becoming more human I mostly make Cole more spirit. Somehow I had a feeling that it was making him more happy and fulfilled. Like when he was helping people in the tavern. I'm trying another approach this time. I wonder how much can I do despite Solas to not antagonize him and romance him.

When we look at the hairstyles they give us for protagonist it's seems like very probable cause.
