All credit to Solas for giving us a home when Bioware turned their backs on us in 2016. When I knew the official boards were closing I was devastated. Then a fellow traveler told me not to fear but just come to the sanctuary of the Dread Wolf.  |

I knew I could count on the Blanketfort! My Solas thirst has been ramping up lately for lots of reasons and I felt nostalgic for the forums--and a recent google search revealed to me the thread is still active and I'm thrilled about that. Considering how much the Internet has changed in the last 10 years this place and thread are almost as ancient as Solas himself It’s wild to me how much things change and yet stay the same I mean, so very much has changed since the last time I was active, both in the world and my life, but in here it's like no time passed.  The scene: I just emerged from uthenera, Thedas is still as broken as I left it, the Dreadwolf still haunts our collective dreams, and the Blanketfort bustles with the latest news to ease our eternal anguish because at long last, there is more Solas on the horizon! ELVEN GLORY!!! |

It's bizzare to realize it's been 10 fucking years I recall the years of silence, how we git cryptic "Buckle in for the ride" from bioware dev, when someone asked them about solavellan back in 2017-ish? And in less than a month we will know for certain. The last month has been filled so much with new Solas content that I feel like overfed kid who just had a couple of happymeals.  |

I like it better. Tada!  By Matt Rhodes, btw EDIT2: Looking closely at that second one, I just noticed that the front paws of the wolf mirror the movement of Solas's legs. Today I dreamed I was playing DAV. When I was playing DAI I had a dream where there was something going on deep underground which we reached by travelling on a lift, although I woke up before discovering what it was. Then the Descent was announced and when I bought it, there was a deja vu of my dream. Spooky huh? (I do have a habit of doing this - it really freaks me out when it is something that occurs in the real world). |
