I'll take a stab at an interpretation without having seen the tweet. Solas might be referring to 'people' in the sense that a group often forms a collective identity. Individuals associate with this identity and refer to that group as their 'people'. Perhaps, Solas means that your cultural identity will die when the veil is brought down. The spirits that reside in the veil embody emotions. Perhaps individuals will be brought closer to their true natures when the veil collapses. Thus, their old selves and collective identities die.

I'm currently considering this as well XD veil so thin skin so tingly hahahahahahaha omg

They must have moved the quote/like bar to the bottom of people's posts last night. Unless it's been like this for a while and I never noticed.

Oh yeah! I think it was moved!   I think I remembered the quote/like bar being at the top as well.

Gosh, I wonder if I've been liking the wrong posts too.

First one's lovely. (And sad, of course.) The second's sketches of Solas are all great. Makes me hope they make some advances at Bioware in cloth physics/rendering so we can get an outfit like the hermit card or that last sketch. I mean, the texturing on his jumper... thing made it look comfy in-game, but I wanna see those slightly voluminous hoods/scarves in action. 

Also, honorable mention to hot "future" Fenris, cus dang.
