So Saints Row has released their CC for free which you can mess with. A. so far seems like a great CC wit a lor of options so there is that and B. This is something I really have been very eager for BioWare to do. Give us the ability to create our characters in advance, please BioWare.

Complete quests and no loose ends is a must. I don't want another "quarian ark" scenario.
More realistic combat animations for warriors and rogues. If I want over to top magical animations I will play as a mage.
Better body proportions for elves. DAI did well with the other races but elves looked like malnourished teenagers. Smaller is fine but give them better proportions. I could never finish DAI as an Elf due to how their body type looked which was a shame since revelations about elven lore was big in the latter part of the game.
Better armor options for all classes. And more variations and options within the different racial styles.
Better hubs and cities. It goes without saying Val Royeaux was disappointing. If a city has a feature or location that is well known in lore I want to see it.

I second four out of five of these BioWare. Curious about the one you disagree with. The first point. I consider that kind of thing a neccessary evil since A. I think most writers and companies aren't going to tie up absolutley everything and every plot thread just in case they want to continue a story later on and B. it does provide a greater sense of continuity to have these works connected. It is a balance that they'll have to work on and everyone will probably have different opinions on it but I think Bio has done a pretty good job of wrapping up their big plot points in the main games and then tease the plots for the next one via DLC. Or in the case of the ME trilogy we knew they always were planning a trilogy from the beginning.

On HUBS:
Totally agree. It's a pet peeve of mine about HUBS or Town/Village squares made by Bio. It's started with DA:O -> Da2 -> DA:I and from ME1 -> Me2 -> ME3 -> Andromeda -> Anthem. At this point it seems the Creative Director said "stick some mannequins in there and add a few that walk and that's it!". Every time you go back to a hub/town the same mannequins are there doing the same thing... nothing. It must be their signature mark.
On Elves: By definition, elves are different from humans and as such some body type differentiation is to be expected. The degree is up for debate. I do like consistency between games in a series. ME held such consistency but not DA for some reason. Best example is from DA:O to DA2.
No surprise if DA:DW repeats the above.

LOL,
I can't see EA or Bio giving us a stand alone CC for us to play with. It would give away too much information about the game. What do I mean?
1- If FB is used, then body modifications such as lengthening the torso as an example is not in the cards. The engine does not support this. That tells us it's same old - same old CC 2- If there is no improvement in the hair style options and good hair quality then again it's a negative and Bio wants to avoid telling us. 3- If we can't mod the CC then again we have a restriction that Bio wishes to keep confidential until the game launches. 4- Fix the CC + game to ensure the colour pallette of the two are the same. My game char looked different in some lighting conditions. If not fixed, that's a negative.
Personally, I see no positives here. And really, does anyone here see Bio spend time, money, resources on an improved CC to stroke their fans? I don't see it.

Using the BETA Appearance Modification Menu LE3 to give my Shepard different hairstyles for combat vs casual wear has made me wish for this feature to be in Dragon Age Dreadwolf. An additional benefit beyond my customization joy is that the glitching problems that come with long hair, that make it too much work to make sure it works with all armours, aren't nearly so much of an issue if they're only used with the smaller number of less bulky casual outfits. With accompanying updos to use in armour of course.

In Fallout 4 and Skyrim, the camera will pan around the main character if he/she hasn't moved in however long. I like that. Not only can the player see his/her character but see the scenery as well. It's a nice feature. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that in the next DA game.

You know if we do get a Noble Mage origin, I'd love it they we'd be allowed to try and bring back Old God Worship Tevinter, either through starting a cult or enforcing it becoming Archon near the end of the game.

Wouldn't mind seeing the return of crossbows non-varric PC and companions.....hopefully a variety of low to high tech ones, have it so they have the same placement as in DAO.
If they do something like Blood Dragon Armor, have it come with a quest or mission that is a reference/similar story and game construct as where they come from but you know based in the game it is.
IE Mass Effect Blood Dragon armor could have a dragon age style mission and Dragon Age could have a Mass Effect style mission with its armor, maybe a quest focused more heavily on the long distance guys, bows, magic etc......
Something to do with Necromancy and the undead faction; while you can basically just drop a spirit into any old body and go the actually designs seem to suggest its (usually) a little more complicated than that.

Another thing that occurred to me was in the Circle when helping Jowan escape there are some "Sentinels" that are basically animated armor.
Maybe make it an option to make your own "Sentinels" so you can get more use out of lower level armor and gear later on.

On this topic, I would REALLY like it actually if we could become the High Priest to the lost 8th Old God mentioned in the codex entry Draconis. And I would also love it if we could get another High Priest in the party who could teach us this - maybe the Augur of Mystery?

It feels like classes once they reach a certain level of power should take a hit of some kind, if Templars use too much Lyrium they become air headed, Reavers' become crazy and give off an uncomfortable-vibe, warden's become ghouls after awhile, Red-Templars lose their sense of self as well. Have that reflected as you become more powerful in your chosen class. Have battle animations be a little slower etc.....
Could have it impact conversation choices, how NPC's react to you, cost of gear etc.....
Also could make a cost to using potions like how is done in the witcher.
Have friendly fire always be a thing.
Edit:
A.) Thinking about it; having the various denizens of the fade be different based on where they come from and the mentality of the societies that generated them would be cool.
They mention about how much the minds of mortals affects the fade and those within but don't really show how it would impact them individual presentation.
B.) Spider-Cults, dragon cults are cool and the more the better but it feels like the time for the spider cults has come, especially since it seems like it might be taking place in a huge metropolis style city at least for some part of the story. Lots of abandoned buildings, sewer tunnels and underclass to feast on.

Something I have been musing about since I've been 'replaying' Ghost Recon Wildlands. In that game you basically have the ability to restart any story mission any time you want. This is something that has always been a kind of request for Dragon Age or Mass Effect given may want to just randomly play a mission but don't want to restart the entire game. Though Wildlands doesen't really do manual saves per se, which if one comes with the other, may not be that welcome.

One thing I want the devs to strive for is for Dragon Age to maintain it's own identity. Don't worry about being more like Witcher, Elder Scrolls, Dark Souls, or whatever other fantasy franchises are out there. Not saying not to take some inspiration from the competition but at the end of the day Dragon Age needs to be Dragon Age.

I'd like to see some characters from Tevinter Nights in DA:D, like Lucanis and Illario Dellamorte, Philliam (a bard!) Trevelyan, Ramesh, and countless others.
