Dragon Age The Veilguard Wishlist (Official Thread)

While there may've been more of them and the quality of them might have been somewhat better in some ways having a deaf mute running around saving the world and 'reacting' to everything still takes me out of the experience. It looks silly and is unimmersive IMO.

Bg3 silent protagonist work because there is the narrator, suppling the lack of emotional tone and stuff. Is not the Dragon Age style, where there are no outside voice explaining the scene.
Tho from my point of view is moot, because I don't mind either silent protagonists or voiced (as long as is not done like DA2 were I can't control Hawke reaction to stuff and give her my roleplay personality because the tone I use one time more dictate she can't be sad her family died and just crack an unfunny joke because apparently humorous people can't stay serious not even for one second.).

About companions, my hope is for some of the characters from Tevinter Nights to enter the row. Oh, and I'd like a Tevinter Templar in the group. It would make a different point of view and a subversion of what we are accustomed about Templars.

As we are imminently to have facts drop about Veilguard, it's perhaps time to cut loose the wishlist thread from it's pin.
Though do rejoice or despair if your wish does or does not come to pass.
