Just to bring it to attention. I've watched the movie last night on theatre and I could have sworn that I've heard a theme that is extremely similar to ME:A's soundtrack. Today I've checked it and my suspicions were right. I know John Paesano is the composer for both, but it's a bit odd to hear it in a movie...

Same thing happened with Hans Zimmer's Crysis 2 theme and a moment in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. I think these composers are like "Well, it's in a video game so those moviegoers won't notice I reuse my idea".

I think these composers are like "Well, it's in a video game so those moviegoers won't notice I reuse my idea". And that's why they should bring back composers like Jack Wall, Chris Velasco and Sam Hulick rather than going for big names from cinema. Those guys created the audio themes that helped to flesh out the experience of Mass Effect, and have a vastly better grip on it than some random composer drafted in for the game.
