I had a similar tgread in old forums where i had questions about the crestwood mayors paintings
I was replaying dai and came across judiths house in crestwood. Who is the woman in the lake (sorry no pic)
I dont believe shes andraste
Would live to know if the paintings in this game contain hidden lore/secrets to da4

I presume you are talking about the strange picture with harpy looking creatures in it flying away from a building in the middle of a lake. It is meant to be part of a series about Andraste's life and death but I can't for the life of me see the connection with that one. May be it is meant to be the Golden City and the lake is the waters of the Fade but it really is ambiguous.
If you are talking about a different picture with a woman actually in a lake, it could be a depiction of Mythal, since she was born of the sea and would seem to have a close connection with water, what with the Well of Sorrows and that water like spirit rising up at the end to confront Corypheus.
It could be these pictures are teasers for as yet unknown lore or simply red herrings.
