I basically just wanted to contrast the difference in style, tonally, in how ME1 chose to introduce Wrex, and how Andromeda shows Drack for the first time. It's a real good look at how subtle ME1 was, but I appreciate both. Analysis starts at 4:53, but both scenes are included in full before that.

Wrong board though? Unless its for research in modding somehow?
Either way, my take is this: The Drack scene is confusing in its context. I haven't analysed it much myself but something about it seemed kinda weird with how it has this almost threatening tone when he first appears and then simply leaves. Wrex is brief and appropriately random and the point is more like "Here is a KROGAN" and you go "ooh, who is this fella!?" and also you think "I wonder who fist is?". Drack imposes himself on you with his introduction, Wrex is just someone you stumble across (or you go meet him when you know his plot-relevance) and so it felt natural.
However, comparing them shouldn't even have been a thing for the same reason that comparing Liara and Samara shouldn't be a thing either, but Andromeda insists on being The Force Awakens of Mass Effect and making nods and mirror-scenarios to ME1 so I totally get the reason for it.
