Hi there, is there a way to disable the achievement progress cards showing up? I really dislike being hit with garbage all the time. I know that the tutorial text or hints such as "cannot use powers during cooldown" can be disabled in the Coalesced.ini, so that might be possible with the achievement plates as well. Thanks in advance!  "oh, headshot 8/10!"

The only way I know to disable it is to actually get the achievement. Once you get the achievement, it will never pop up again.
Joking aside, I cannot quite tell what platform this is on. You may be able to disable achievement notifications using Xbox/PS options, or Origin (on PC) options. I can check my Xbox 306 or Origin options be (my platforms) to see if there are options to disable achievement notifications. If you are on another platform, then someone else will have to help you.

I'm on PC and Origin, but this should be an ingame achievement system and nothing have to do with the platform underneath(?). Origin has been released a year after ME2 and its Cerberus-Network. You can check the progress in the Captain's cabin. edit: I would cheat-complete all the achievements if they wouldn't give bonus stats... edit²: I'll have a try editing the Coalesced.ini in line 4765 (screenshot in spoilertag) with "DisplayTime=0.1" or 0.0. I always need the same amount of letters in the ini, right? So I have to do something else when I want to replace "bCanBeMerged=false" with true (only 4 letters). edit³: Got to read more about the Coalesced.ini, because the game doesn't start after the changes. |

Achievements are earned in-game, but the audio/visual notification system is controlled by the platform (Origin, Xbox, PlayStation).
Disabling Achievement notifications in Origin:
1. Log in to Origin.
2. Select Origin > Application Settings.
3. In the top navigation bar, click Notifications.
4. Scroll down to the Games section.
5. For Achievement unlocks:
- To disable achievement notifications, turn NOTIFICATION to 0 (off). By default, this setting is 1 (on).
- To disable achievement sounds, turn SOUND to 0 (off). By default, this setting is 1 (on).
