Here are the list of weapon balance changes:
February 13
Halberd:
– Increased clip size from 12 to 18
– Increased damage from 111-140 to 117-147
Thokin:
– Increased clip size from 24 to 30
– Increased total ammo capacity from 240-300 to 300-375
Charger:
– Increased accuracy from 45-56 to 50-63
Predator
– Increased damage from 54-72 to 57-76
– Increased force from 30 to 40
Sidewinder
– Increased ammo capacity from 60-75 to 65-81
Scorpion
– Increased damage from 587-704 to 616-739
– Increased force from 55 to 75
Indra
– Increased damage from 92-110 to 97-116
Shadow
– Increased damage from 85-102 to 88-106

These changes all seem good, although I am not sure I would get too excited about any of these weapons until I see the effect. (The Charger accuracy buff is nice; it is a good siphon weapon for status effects.) I will definitely try the Indra, Shadow and Scorpion again. I'm just happy that the game is still being cared for!
Valentine love for Bioware, and anyone else still playing this game!

Unlimited apex packs? Can someone clarify? Before you could only purchase a limited number of Apex Elite Packs (plus the free one from the mission). Now you can apparently purchase unlimited Elite packs during this week's event. |

Unlimited apex packs? Can someone clarify? It says pretty clearly "buy unlimited apex packs until Feb 20". So basically as opposed to past times where you could only buy a set # of apex packs (I think it was 3) you can now buy as many as you can afford. Probably trying to drum up sales for Andromeda points, as I'm guessing the EA overlords see a small sales boost every time they have the Apex packs available for purchase. It doesn't really change the fact that apex elite packs are questionable value compared to just buying an equivalent # of premium/arsenal/reserve packs. From a UR perspective it's likely a push or possibly slightly better if you get lucky but you definitely get shafted on consumables. |

The apex elite pack; only buy this with in game credits, do not buy with andromeda points. They might guarantee an ultra-rare and a rare or better, BUT you only get three other items with it, and five tier 4 experience boosters. Those five xp boosters devalue the pack tremendously since they are filler. You are effectively getting a single premium pack for three times the cost in Andromeda points.

Sweeet..... I opened the Celebratory Mission Pack and found a Hurricane Siphon I. Yes, it is much better. Good drop! I will be getting my pack later today. Hoping for a PAW Siphon and NOT another Bulwark variant. Update: Eagle Siphon I, one of six remaining UR variant unlocks I had yet to unlock. |
