ME2 DLC

My top pic would be Arrival and Overlord, though I kind of like Kasumi's dlc. As someone who bought them all, I guess I'm left with saying "yes, they're worth it". Zaeed and Kasumi being recruited and surviving into ME3 offers some good endings to side quests some extra war assets (how much depends on what you do, but they're entirely absent if those two aren't there). Based on my Paragon playing of Overlord, I get a real "feel good" moment in ME3 at Grissom Academy. To my knowledge, LotSB makes little difference going into ME3 unless you're romancing Liara. Otherwise, Liara still did whatever she did but without your help. Now, I know you weren't specifically asking about the impact of the DLC on ME3 but for me I find those added moments to be worthwhile. In reality, though, it's a stupid amount of money to pay, though Arrival, Overlord and LotSB are all pretty lengthy.

I either have all of them or most of them, but I haven't turned either of my xbox consoles on in over a year and my ps4 doesn't have mass effect. Since I don't really plan on going back to console, I was just curious as to what value everyone thought the dlc's held.

Let me ask this... are there any that are absolutely vital to the overall story or war assets, or what have you, that are really needed? It's been a long time lol

I think dmc already mentioned arrival being pretty important. 

Here's my shady reply.  If you've already purchased them, even if not on PC, perhaps there's a place to download them for free.  I honestly don't know where but, I mean, you DID buy them.

They all offer some level of war assets (but, like I said, Zaeed and Kasumi have to survive the SM and be loyal).  Probably not necessary if you go to galaxy at war and "play" the online thing periodically to raise your war assets up from 50%.  Or even do MP if that's your thing.  It'll make the measly war assets gained unnecessary. 

Maybe just do Arrival.  I mean, ME3 opens just fine without it.  After all, you were still a "traitor" for working with Cerberus, which is reason enough to keep you locked up.  I just find the Arrival story to work better and make more sense - you're locked up for your protection because every batarian in existence now wants you dead.

Not only was it good (despite having to fly around in that thing that used tissue paper for armor), I found the follow-up in ME3 (assuming you weren't heartless) to be very heartwarming.  Some of my more vindictive Shepard's have enjoyed denying Gavin Archer any info on David.  Damn was I ever surprised at the outcome the first time I did it but man did I love it.  Kind of wish I could have done that myself at the end of Overlord.

I feel your pain.  I own all of the content on PS3, and bought it all again on PC about a year ago.  Well, not quite all.

It's ridiculous that they're still not willing to sell the entire package at a discount.  I've purchased legendary editions of DAO and DAI, including all DLCs (and in the case of DAO, a full expansion pack) with great discounts, but for some reason they haven't/won't do that for ME.

I get how that's annoying.  Thing is, for me, sci-fi will win out over fantasy pretty much all of the time.  I've played pretty much any single game from the MET more times than I've played all DA games.  It's not a knock against the games.  Even growing up, I vastly preferred sci-fi over fantasy books (with some exceptions).  So when I found a serious sci-fi RPG, that hit some other notes of importance to me, I was all in.

Yes, and I suppose it's why I was willing to spend ridiculous amounts of money to obtain all the ME DLC.  This has come up before as to whether or not it's worth it.  For me, it was, though someone tried to tell me I was wrong (though I was only speaking for myself, but whatever).  I suppose it doesn't all have to be purchased at one time.  By a DLC now, another later, or whenever you happen to have the disposable income.

Does anybody know how do I get Samara and Thane or even go to Illium? Do I have to have LOTSB? Or not?
