Peebee's romance and 'No Strings' airlock scene

Does having the fling or not effect Peebee's romance later on in terms of dialogue?

We can still have "no strings" romances? I know you used to be able to have a no strings fling with Reyes but now it's very stringy.

Ah, okay.  Keri is also no strings?  I ask, because you can actually cheat on your LI with her in a way that made me feel very dirty for the one and only time I've ever done it.  (Back when you could romance 5 different people in a run.)

I'm currently doing a playthrough with a Ryder who was not initially interested, although he had casually flirted with her a couple of times (as he had also flirted with all the other female characters - Vetra, Cora, Lexi, Kerri, Avela).  When PeeBee propositioned him in the space pod, he turned her down (i.e. he did not say he wanted strings, but rather just said "No, thanks.").  Afterward, he opened another conversation and selected the flirting option (basically telling her that he didn't want to stop flirting)... and he's also flirted with her at every other opportunity (while just stopping the flirts with the other female characters).  I've not yet done the Hunting the Archon mission, but I have just finished her loyalty quest and I would say he is clearly on a committed romance path.  He's offered his bedroom, and PeeBee expressed interest (saying that she wasn't generally into comfort but could change).  I think PeeBee's actually likes the fact that Ryder has not pressured her at all for "strings" (even telling her once that Jaal was a good guy and she should trust her instincts if she wanted to go with him.)

In summary, I think the triggers for these romances are not simple one-off counting things (like flirt 3 times, you get a romance shot).  I think they have other more subtle things tied in with that specific Ryder's personality and other minor choices made throughout the game.  Of course, it's going to take many more different playthroughs before I'll know for sure.

ETA:  Got her "all the strings" proposal today... so, turning her casual stress relief proposal down flat does not lock out the possibility of a romance developing.

I was disappointed by the Peebee "no strings" thing, because it's not really no strings sex, it's rooted in low self esteem after her emotionally abusive relationship with Kalinda. It's the classic thing where someone sleeps with people and acts indifferent to try to feel in control after feeling helpless, and I really wanted a fun and healthy casual sex option for one of my Ryders.
