It is still reasonably easy to get a PUG during good gaming hours, although Platinum lobbies take a while to fill up. I usually can only play in weird, off peak times, so getting a lobby with a good connection has started to become a challenge. Some days good, some days bad. In response, I’ve started to get into soloing, which is pretty darn fun!

I tend to get on most days and run the daily challenges + silver & gold Apex missions (double earnings, A.Points & credits). If I set up the game parameters and pick "join" the game nearly always makes me host. So, I'll often start solo, and people almost always show up wave 1,2, or 3. Don't do that for platinum, though, since unlikely to get platinum level teammates. Gameplay-wise, they made some good fixes & buffs over the past year, though not as extensively as I would like.
PS4 here.

PUGs are easy to get on PC at north europe, platinum is always slower also I think because the games tend to take much longer than bronze/silver/gold especially if the people arent so good at that level.
I still anyway mostly play platinum and with friends, cant stand much "no voice and dont know what to do" PUGs on platinum as that usually means wipe.
