That is my exact same build for her.  I do try and get frost step as early as I can because it can be a real life saver if you get in trouble.  Her and the elementalsit have about the mos useful starting abilities if you ask me.  I keep both of their base abilities all though the build.  Necros can be a tad frustrating against the newer enemies as they have immunities.  (Horror is underated, many people ditch it from the necro)

You can see all your gear directly in game, just open inventory. you can use Smurf's build on routine and threatening with your stats. For peril I would command THIS

Speaking of new players, two newbies joined FC NM game I was playing with friend. They had game of their life were sitting in front of green screen.

^^^ Both games are build on same principles, they are just executed differently. In ME3MP you get better weapons and that's it, you either know how to play or don't; in DAIMP you are promotions dependent, no matter how good you are and how good gear you have, archer can one shot kill you for example.

I got Hakkons very early, but they weren't any better than some lower level uniques because I couldn't utilize their bonuses. When I had low stats my builds were all about CC and survivability (even on Threatening), now I can play as level 1 on NM with people who have stats around mine.

There are exp boosts.

The players just have to make it themselves.

Found a soloing level 1 Katari in Threatening. I hesitated at first because I wasn't sure if he'd rather solo. But I was welcomed...in fact, I was watched over at times. That guy was BOSS. He killed all the things and he NEVER died.

Then the Silent Sister and the Keeper joined us and it was good fun. It's nice when you get a team with good chemistry.
