That first picture... He looks more like Marauder Shields than I remembered.

I agree.  Saren was a dick long before he found Sovereign.  The only difference was that he was no longer the one running the show (though he thought he was until nearly the end - just like TIM).

Wait, how?  Isn't Marauder Shields the one you have to kill just before getting to the beam to go up to the Citadel?  Unless you use a mod to put the Citadel DLC post-ending Joker shouldn't be able to make such a joke.  Or do you just mean Marauders in general?

I'm pretty sure he says specifically "marauder", but Shields is just the same basic marauder throughout the entire game. This dialogue occurred for me in the upstairs portion of the apartment, when Joker and some other characters are sitting on the two couches facing each other. It's tough to find any video of this bit; there's so much dialogue in the party, and this was probably overlooked entirely.

I've heard the dialog KaiserShep refers to. I'm kinda surprised a lot of people haven't. I can't remember what kind of party you have to have, or which section it's in, but Joker is talking with several others (including Traynor) about the crew of the original Normandy's fight against Saren.

And honestly the first time I saw a marauder I thought they looked like Saren. I thought that was a nice touch from Bioware.


EDIT: I just replayed this tonight. Quiet party, third segment. Joker, Samara, Miranda, Jacob, Steve, and Wrex on the second level couches.
