Do people occasionally have the game just freeze on them? I’m on XBox. This is a somewhat classic behavior of EA games (I’ve never had a game from another publisher freeze on me, but I’ve never not had an EA title freeze on me at some point.)
Are there patterns people have noticed to watch for? Remedies?

Do people occasionally have the game just freeze on them? I’m on XBox. Are there patterns people have noticed to watch for? Remedies? Happens to me most when the Kett Fiend does his swipe attack on Firebase Paradox and Aqua, though I’ve experienced it on other maps too. Only happens in non-solo matches. I did have the Xbox freeze on me while I was doing one of my early Plat solos on a Wave 6 devices objective. That was annoying. |

On PC. Humm.. if I dont win+1 (change to Putty) in a critical moment when the game is over, then theres no freeze. Basically just when it has started to load lobby and changes away from it in the black screen with loading thingie in the lower right corner.

If you’re on a console, does it matter if you are playing from the hard drive or from disk? Any differences? I'm playing from disc, but I thought that the game was already copied to the hard drive, and the disc was just being used for the copy protection check? |

Yes and the biggest culprit for me is FBAqua which freezes more than other maps. See this screenshot from the other day, screen freeze firebase aqua on extraction wave. At least it is a pretty screen freeze. |

To get back on topic ...
On PC, I've had the game freeze during a match, it's so rare, really can't say I've noticed it tied to a single map or perhaps two maps.
More frequent, but still rare is getting the black screen and the little timing visual in the lower right corner after extraction or during host migration.
All snickering aside, when I get the black screen after extraction, after rebooting, most times I've gotten the credits and XP.

I have zero freezing problems... but I have gotten a weird sound glitch to where something will happen mid match, not sure what, and all of a sudden I have no sound (this is on PC). Have to restart my game to get it back. On Xbox, there are times when Kandros' audio stops in the match. All of the game sounds are still present, enemies, guns, explosions, but the expository stuff is silent. I seem to recall the audio coming back around extraction time. And, there are times when the objective audio call-outs are delayed. For instance, we take out the last target, and the audio explaining the targets objective comes on. Doesn't happen all the time, however. |

I'm also on XB1. I've had my game freeze and the game has frozen on my host before, but it doesn't seem super frequent. It just happens every now and then. Thankfully MEA seems to be much better about saving credits and EXP than ME3. I think every time the auto save icon appears, it's updating your manifest (credits earned, consumables used).

Suddenly Kandros just shuts down the mic (for us not to hear his drinking of our drinks and eating of the pizzas we deliver to him! ) and returns later into the game, sometimes in the last wave. |
