I've read that God of War has a photo mode. I know of some other recent games that have it as well. Will this be possible for DA4? I haven't played a game with that feature built-in, so I've never used it. It seems to me that one of the nicer aspects of DAI's Cinematic Tools is the ability to move the camera around and sort of explore with just the camera. For example, I was able to see that the War Room is really pretty awesome and looks very close to the concept art; it's a shame we never see a wide shot. That said, I guess this would definitely have to be an extra feature. I wouldn't mind if it had to be cut in favor of something more important, like face codes.

We were recently talking about this in the Wishlist thread. Having a built-in Photo Mode was also one of my requests. Heck, I'd be happy just for a one-key disable of the UI again, rather than having to use console commands. On a similar note, I would be oh so happy to witness a Dragon Age first: being able to disable subtitles in cutscenes but NOT in the ambience. In all the games so far, it's disable in ambience only, disable in cutscenes and ambience, or don't disable any. But ambience is where I miss more stuff, and cutscenes are where I want to not have anything on the screen, so I can take nice screenshots of the action! I don't understand why they did it the way they did. Having some kind of Photo Mode is starting to become much more common lately so hopefully that will exist for us, in some form. As for the subtitles thing I'll put a request in to at least provide the option for it . (neither of these things are owned in any way by my discipline so I'll merely be a proxy voice on behalf of this)

I’d be fully in support of this. I take a shit-ton of screenshots.

I don't have a problem with it, as long as it's easy to use and can be used in game and not just posing in certain poses and locations, players should still have the option to do that but as long as one can take photos during game play.

YES. I love photo mode. Whenever I play Horizon Zero Dawn, it's something I always use in every single session without fail and with more games had it. If we can get this mode in a party based game, and, ideally, allow for poses and expressions for companions as well, then sign me the hell up for this shit.

It’s not a new idea, been around for a while — Tomb Raider reboot is the earliest version I tried first hand — but yeah, it’s great. Long overdue, IMO.

That story about the war table is interesting. Considering who the original castle belonged to, I wonder if the two factions could be the Evanuris and the Forgotten Ones? And I am totally in support of a photo mode. As long as it supports 4K.

It's almost a necessity for me. I definitely am one of those aesthetics heavy RPGers. I'll spend three hours getting the look of my character right and you're damn sure I'd take a million pictures if there was a photo mode in the game. Mass Effect Andromeda really needed one. Like, really? These action games with static heroes like Uncharted, God of War and The Last of Us have a photo mode but not these AAA RPGs? That needs to be a new industry standard, imo

I would love this! Assassin's Creed Origins has it and I have over 400 shots now. I. can. not. stop. myself.

Oh yeah, definitely a +1 from me. Screenshots really help you spend more time in the world and soak up the setting which I'm sure the environmental artists would appreciate too.

The main reason I want a built-in photo made is for convenience and stability. The programs that we have currently for DAI and MEA are wonderful, don't get me wrong (and the work is much appreciated!!), but they can break with patches, cause crashes, and necessitate the use of an out-of-game window for changing things like movement speed, or adjusting the image settings (DOF, color, etc). Having all of that be native to the game would be wonderful.

Yeah think it would be a great idea & would love to see it in game could grab some good shots that are just not doable at the moment.
