As the thread title indicates, what is your favourite indie game, assuming that you even have one? If you can't narrow it down, list more than one if you wish.
The best indie game I've played so far is probably Stardew Valley. (Edit: Actually, I'll go with 80 Days.) The one with the best music is definitely Transistor.
I'm also curious about Golf Story, Pyre, Celeste and Night in the Woods (only played the beginning of this last one).

Ruiner
It's made by experienced devs but a very small team.

Probably The Swapper. Great soundtrack and atmosphere. A unique twist on the typical puzzle platformer.

Fireboy and WatergirlFor a free quickly picked up browser game it is fantastic in a particular niche. Couples game. Me and my girl play it occasionally. Fun, easy pace, teamwork and coordination challenges, easy to pick up and put down. If you're looking to kill a little time doing something simple but really fun cooperatively with your partner give it a go. The premise is two characters using one keyboard operating at the same time in a sidescroller puzzle game that relies on buttons and levers being pushed at correct times to enable the other player to move forwards. One person uses WASD and the other ←↨→.

Limbo - always loved this game....the black and white palette and somewhat old 20's scratch noise filter set the atmosphere perfectly for this game
Inside - a great follow up to Limbo....a bit obscure and abstract in it's approach...great game
Little Nightmares - love the art direction and design in this game.....very short, but a great experience.

Hmmmm, can't tell which one I like best but here are a few that I loved: - Abzu (liked it more than Journey, both great though) - Botanicula (played it when my cat died, helped me a lot coping with my grief) - Contrast - Dear Esther & Everybody's Gone To The Rapture - Firewatch - The Night Of The Rabbit - Ori And The Blind Forest - SOMA - Trine 1-3 - The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter Is Child Of Light considered an indie game? If so, that one also for sure. Amazing soundtrack too. I guess these are all fairly high budget indie games. I've never played any of the old school games developed by a single person. Not intro the retro look tbh. A game that is not published yet because of money problems is Bloom: Memories Very cool unique art style. I hope they get it finished. Support them, please, I backed their Kickstarter. I want to play it!

I can't really say I have a favorite myself. This will change, based on my current life experiences, my current game I'm playing, and my current mental standing. But atm? I'd have to say starbound. Not a recent game, I know. Still a low key game, you can just play and chill out too. Don't need to be complicated, or full of non-stop action. Create an interesting world, make sure the story doesn't drag too much, and just let the players play.
