Figured we could use a separate thread to discuss all things Dragon Age Keep, what tiles you'd like to see added, new additions for Dragon Age 4, etc.
Is Varric's narration of DAI's prologue a new addition or did I just miss it before? 🤔 When do you think they'll release his full account of the events of DAI?

And actually, I've never looked at DAI's tiles to see what is and isn't there. I started to take more of an interest when I discovered that saving Crestwood was not a requirement to progress the main plot but was optional. So presumably when you return there you continue to run round in darkness with random demon encounters. The Keep tells you a fair bit about what things might be relevant to future games out of what you did and what will not. I was quite willing to give up on the shards quest firstly because I didn't like how the occulara were created and secondly when I found some of them too difficult to reach but then discovered that the quest was recorded in the Keep. Went back and spent hours messing around hitting the key to climb into impossible locations, finished the quest, found the final room underwhelming but at least felt I could honestly record it as completed. Also studying the history bar on the left hand side was interesting too. Discovered they had changed the timeline for the arrival of humans in Thedas to much earlier. |

To be clear, just because something is noted as a tile in the Keep doesn’t mean it will be relevant later on. Feeding the Hungry Prisoner in Ostagar is a tile, but it’s had zero relevance later on.

Yepper. Several tiles were added for DAO and DA2 because players want to show their world state, the choices they made and how that reflects their Warden or Hawke. The tile selection doesn't necessarily mean anything in the grand scheme of future game or story development. |

Maybe with Fairbanks in DA Absolution we get a outcome of his Quest in DAD. I am highly skeptical they would put non-game choice information into The Keep. The way I always took BioWare's approach to outside media is that it branches off from the game and doesn't return.

First i doubt that Fairbanks is in DAD because it´s not that unlikely that Absolution only can use characters like Fairbanks if they aren´t planned for DAD. And second i don´t think it would change that much regardless what the player pick in the Keep. If Fairbanks did not defeat the Freemen alongside with the Inquisition someone else like the Orlaisian Military will wipe out the Freemen and Fairbanks will be loyal to the Inquisition for some unknown reason.
And his real name well does it matter if he won´t take part in Orlaisian Politics and pick an adventure in Tevinter?
