I thought this too, but they're still the best if you don't want character cards and still want 2 level IV consumables. I'm usually buying JEPs and APs nowadays.

The real question for me is, do you find you get more AM3 with Arsenal vs SP? I don't, thus I buy a healthy dose of SPs too.

I don't feel like working atm so I did some looking at me3tweaks.com/store_catalog/packs. This all hinges on having a maxed manifest. For one slot it looks like the regular old Vet Packs are probably the best followed by the SPs. For Vet Packs AMIII is in silverbackup and once character cards in that pool are maxed there's a 1/14 (7.14%) chance you'll get an AMIII on any given drop and you'll get that every single time. For SPs there's 21 cards in the goldcommon pool where the AMIII is in so you have a 1/21 (4.76%) chance to get that card. The SP has 2 (up to 3) slots that have 100% chance of pulling from the goldcommon and another slot that has a 45% chance of pulling the goldcommon (actual percent is 45%*(1/21) = 2.14% per slot chance of getting an AMIII). The next best are the AP/RP/PSP; they have 2 (up to 3) slots each with a 1/21 chance of pulling an AMIII. Last are the JEPs, they have 6 slots each with a 30% chance to drop from the goldcommon pool (30%*1/21 = 1.43% per slot chance of seeing AMIII). 

All of that was for any given slot in a pack. SPs may still be better than VPs since they have more cards, but iirc your chances don't double with an SP just because there's 2 guaranteed slots with the goldcommon pool. I hope it helps. 

EDIT: It may be binomial distribution where percent chance of pulling a specifice card is 1-(1-p)^n. So for SP w/ 2 slots is 1-(1-.0476)^2=0.0929 or a 9% chance for the two slots. If you have 3 slots (gels, etc at 255) it becomes 1-(1-.0476)^3=.1361 or 13.61% chance. Add to that the extra 2.14% chance in slot 3 and your best bet is a SP for an AMIII. God I love math.

EDIT 2 EDIT BUGALOO: If you factor in 3 VPs for every SP. You get 1-(1-.0714)^3 = .1993 or 19.93% chance of getting 1 in those three packs.

Quite simple yet effective mouse macro recorder. Just record how you buy one pack, tweak a little bit, buy your 2000 Packs.

i installed cheat engine, worked on it half an hour, got 255 respect card and 255 shot amps.
Its one item by on item though so :
Now i just use giveallmatchconsumables before each game, which i could bind with the other one for 255 gels/packs, what more wld u need ?

I can assure you that if I ever completed a Platinum solo* the video would definitely be over a thousand hours long and you can bet I'd upload it to YouToob!
