Then, welcome to modern day society. Indeed. I found I had to depart Facebook because too much of politics became "us vs them" and it was all-in on one side or the other or else you're the enemy. But, yes, people listen to what they're told rather than find out for themselves. Heck, given that it was possible to "try before you buy" with MEA, there was no excuse not to find out for themselves.

Visuals was never the issue.....story and characters was always the core issue with Andromeda. Art direction and design was astounding even when Andromeda dropped on day 1. ME2 and 3 to this day still have weird character animations that pop up every now and then...i've experienced a few with my recent play-throughs of 2 and 3, yet the story and characters are what kept the overall experience compelling. To this day i can still play Silent Hill 2 and 3 (Ps2 games) even tho the visuals may not be on the gaming level of what we see today, but the art direction, characters and story still deliver a compelling and interesting decent into the depth of madness and the disturbing imagery that was implemented, fleshed out the entire experience. Again, Andromeda was an amazing looking game even before the 1st patch came through,....those animation issues was not the core issue that plagued Andromeda....sure some clowns on youtube tried to make a big issue out of it, but if the story and characters was more compelling and interesting, those minor animation issues would not have been a problem for the game at all. I thought the story and characters were fine. But I do agree that the other issues were way overblown.

Yeah I thought graphics wise MEA was one of the best Bioware have done minus the bugs for example even though it was simple looking I loved the little touches such as the hair physics and all that. I definitely think the games will definitely need little touches like that going forward. The lighting and environments looked pretty good too. Faces coul ddo with a bit moer work but I think that's more an engine problem as MEA isn't the only game to suffer from this but I think it is getting better slowly but surely. TBH the only things for me that let MEA down were the bugs at launch and too many comparisons with the trilogy which it wasn't even trying to be like.

some aspects are very mediocre, like Pop in in ps4 pro, Havarl is terrible , also the leaves and the bushes flicker when you get close, some world items are low res. Other than that many locations and assets are FANTASTIC. also the HDR is second to none on this game.

Explotions are great but the Jump mellee has a really poor visual effect.

I’m saying I don’t see that on my Xbox. Maybe on a rare occasion but not all the time. Oddly, I don't see that on my PS4 Pro, either. Janky ass game. This takes me back to last year, when everyone wa experiencing relatively unique bugs. It does perform less well on PS4 Pro since the patch that "optimized" visuals and lighting for 1080p players. Before that patch, it looked like I was playing on a pretty nice gaming rig.

I think people are seeing the game, warts and all, through clearer eyes because they have space between themselves and the clickbait whining that infested youtube. In other words, the real issues with the game can be differentiated from the clickbait nonissues or overinflated gripes, now. I like the game, reinstalled recently to start another playthrough in fact, but you've seen my emphatic gripes with elements of the game, mostly in the story and characterizations. I think too many players let youtube tell them what to think.

It's not a perfect game, it has some strong weaknesses but some great strengths. At the end of the day its a good game, I think people will realise it, and are starting to once they buy it on the cheap deals that have been happening lately.

The patches did help as well. some of the animations were bad, some of the character looks were bad. Some still are, my ryder is a teetotaler to avoid he terrible drinking animation. From the get-go though the environments looked great. I'm not sure I blame it on people being sheep, I do blame it on people over valuing looks whether its graphics or animations. Reviewers I find fair like Angry Joe came down pretty hard on the game for a mass effect giving it I think a 6 or 7.And he explains his reasons i enough detail and with enough examples I can see people following that, and it still being a informed opinion. I got the super deluxe mega spent way too much edition pre-order so the reviews were pointless, but I can see his and use it to say oh I agree that looks terrible, that dialogue is bad, and then disagree and say nope I don't want PVP in my mass effect MP.

I wish people wouldn’t let YouTube or other people influence them.

Graphically the game is fine. As far as overall presentation goes the game fluctuates.
