I have a small problem to activate the cheat console ingame from Mass Effect. More specifically, it relates to the key assignment. I using a german keyboard, but the ini/game only understand the US keyboard. Has someone an idea how I get clarity to use the cheat console?
One the german keyboard I want to use the ^ key, it is placed on the left corner of the keyboard. But I have no idea how it have to show in the ini-file that the game understands to use the US equivalent.
Or alternative. Normally, in the ini is Tilde set as cheat console key. When I press the button, what ever it is, on the german keyboard, where on the US keyboard usually is the Tilde key, will the game understand the command as 'Tilde'?

One more problem.
The game does not saving the ingame settings for example graphic or sounds. When I close the game, all trophys are deleted and the costumed settings, too.

Console- you can select any button you chose, try something like F6 that does not use another slot.
As for your trophies I have no idea. Depends if you use Steam or Origin maybe? If you are using a cracked game then nothing much will work past the game itself.

As long as you log in you should see your trophies. Make sure you have disabled "origin in game" and "auto-matic updates." Sometimes Origin has issues handling their own servers. You could try a simple achievement cheat from masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/PC_Tweaks that does something little like "Pistol Expert" , save your game and exit and see if it updates. If not you will need to contact EA to have them update your profile. |

I have used the cheat for Pistol Expert, it was unlocked. Closed the game and start again, the Achievement is locked again. :s

I did some more digging around, your player profile might be broken. You would have to delete your save game folder and start over if that is the case.
