To celebrate the Trilogy Remaster announcement I made a sappy video. Three games of Garrus/FemShep. Find My Way Back by Eric Arjes
I made a romance vid and instead of spamming it to all the individual character threads I thought I'd leave it here and on the Andromeda romance board.
This was the my first time playing as MShep and I found Jack's romance arc very moving (apart from some of Sheploo's facial animations and some of his lines which almost seemed bullying). The tattoo scene in the Citadel DLC was really sad, even though the nitpicker in me found it unlikely that Shepard would be topless under the rubble. I definitely will only pick high EMS Destroy with Jack-romancing Shepards in future. She has been through enough crap to last a lifetime.
Garrus is still my current favorite ME LI, though I haven't tried Liara, Tali or Miranda or any of the ME3-only romances. Which one should I try next?
Edit 11/12/19 So, for N7 day I made a video of the crews of the Normandy and Tempest drinking and behaving like dorks. Liara and Kaidan dancing at the quiet party is... something. Raise Your Glass by Pink

Tali is a surprisingly deep one, there was a lot of details that can only be found with a male Shepard. It's fun in that there's a lot of easter egg references.
Miranda's is touching in a flirty sort of way, giving her a playful side few will ever see so I'd vote for that one after Tali.

A long time ago I saw a video of Tali telling Shepard "I love you" to which he replies "Keelah Se'lai!" I think it happens on Rannoch when he's about to paint the Reaper with the targeting laser. I really loved that moment -- it just seemed so very right, so I'm interested in working towards it. I just feel a bit guilty for risking her health right before the suicide mission in 2. (I guess I should just treat it the same as risking anaphylaxis with Garrus, which I also feel guilty about but do anyway.) I also love Tali's support of Shepard ("what kind of friend would I be if I didn't back you now?" "You got my homeworld back, I'll do everything to help you regain yours") and the fact that she's a shy techie.
Miranda's interesting because she's at first quite skeptical of Shepard (and admits to having wanted to put a control chip in his head) but comes around in the end. If Shepard is a Sole Survivor that sets up a "natural enemies turned lovers" vibe that I personally find appealing in a Pride and Prejudice sort of way. |

I'd say go for Miranda next, she's the only squad mate from 2 that 3 doesn't hate. Yes, they didn't get much to do. Jacob got the worst treatment in 3, IMO, because he not only had very little to do, he was made thoroughly unlikable if romanced.
I was disappointed in the amount of content Thane and Jack got, but the Citadel DLC made up for it in Jack's case. |

No argument here -- Garrus is still my favorite so far, but I've enjoyed most of the romances I've tried. (Except Jacob, but that was mostly due to Shepard's sexual harassment voice in ME2. I didn't import a Jacob romance into ME3, but I've seen videos and they were very... disheartening.)

Beautiful vid and nice work getting the imagery sync'ed with the lyrics. Just want to note that the ME3-only romances have different content if Shepard engage in a relationship before or after doing the 1st Citadel DLC mission. Even though Vega isn't a LI, he and FemShep can have a touching scene in the apartment if FemShep have no engagements. |

I think it's the one where Vega comes by to show off his N7 tattoo and they chat briefly on the balcony before noticing a punching bag on the way out. It actually was a nice touch and made me wish more teammates were hanging around and staying in Shepard's apartment. The place had 5 couches, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 minibars, an office and a kitchen. Geezums! I could partition off several rooms and make them mini apartments! |
