As anybody guessed Praxley and "female protag" (not to confuse with the QA person who played the Ranger) from last year? Praxley has the longer sample to work with.
Saying that, I think the whispering lady in this teaser sound a bit like Indira Varma, but without too much of her British (posh) accent. There is still some trace of an accent though.
edit: Discord is in camp Indira Varma too, well the "sound like the Moshae in MEA camp", lol.

No, no clue.
Given the gravitas of the situation, I feel a voice with a different timber may be more suitable. This one is far from a combat fighter.

I have always had a thing for her and yes, I think it is her … doing the happy dance that she might have a significant part in Anthem.
Also why I hope she is in MEA2, not just as the Moshae, but also as Sloane Kelly, either as the ruler of Kadara or the "I'm not dead yet" deposed ruler of Kadara.
*heavy sigh*

NEver had a thing for voice actor who's supposed to be Indira Varma? Vivienne in Dragon Age Inquisition. Moshae Sejfa/Sloane Kelly in Mass Effect Andromeda. Also, Ellaria Sand in Game of Throne.

I was struggling.
Indira or Alix came to mind, initially Alix, but the register was a little low, so thought maybe Indira...

I saw someone suggest Dominique Tipper. No idea who that was, I had to googlefu her (I don't watch TV series much). She's another British actress, but I don't think her voice is as smooth or low as Indira and the one in the trailer is.

Definitely had Angara flashbacks when I heard it, so eIther Indira or one of the other main voices for their species. Have to say my heart sank, I LOVE Indira as Viv but I got major VA fatigue with her in MEA. She was everywhere.

It's not Cindy Robinson (Paaran Shie, I recognize her voice in everything she is in). Avela's VO is Kate Kennedy, I would almost call her "new" (her imdb credits start in 2014 and she got 9 in both TV and VO work). I watched her most recent VO work (Hela in Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2), she has a low voice, but the enunciation is different.

She's the reason I played femquisitor the most. I don't recall ever hearing her voice get that low before.

Forget the voice, what is the statement referring to? My bet is the "something" is EA and "us" is bioware's fanbase.

Maybe its me.. or slight voice distortion is here. For it sounds like two different voices: Voice 1: "Something is out there" -sounds clear & crisp and midlow ranged-pitched & less british. Voice 2: "It wants to destroy us all" -sounds slightly disjointed & cloudy and deep-low ranged-pitched & more british. Then again maybe I should deactivate 7.1 surround sound...

The first part is whispered, the second one isn't whispered that much. I also get the impression the person speaking is trying to not sound British too much but some people have enunciation tic they can't get rid off.

Guess the lower the voice the less pronounced it is then... True the enunciation that some speak with remains for long while... If it goes away can almost be certain that it would only happen if they moved from the dialect they would hear everyday. Possibly could take nearly a decade till the language or dialect of where they moved to becomes their parent tongue -again on theory -probably wrong.

It reminds me a lot of the female angara scout on Voeld right outside the Resistance base who either goes: "You're amazing!" or "I don't wanna talk to it. YOU talk to it."
Also I know it can't really be helped, but being able to recognize voices so easily kind of ruins the initial mystique for me. I get used to it as I play and it eventually fades into the background, but my first initial reaction beyond: "Cool new character!" is usually "Oh, I've heard you before. Meh." Same thing happened to Chancellor Roderick over in DAI. Second I heard him I was like: "Oh hey, Viscount. Fancy meeting you here. When'd you get your head back?" (of course the physical similarities didn't help any)
