It randomly appeared and than randomly disappeared again. Updates for Origin didn't change a thing. Apparendly thoses weren't random enouth. Anyway as a workaround I started Mass Effect 3 first, waited till I was in the Mutliplayer menu and then alt+tabbed to start Afterburner. Back into the game both overlays worked without problems... Well, ME3 rarely crashed at that point, but it worked 99% of the time. Maybe that workaround could work for you aswell. If you don't just want to wait it out. ^^ |

The first screen you get after klicking on Multiplayer in the main menu and sitting though the loading screen. But the time wasn't a real factor in my case. It was just the most convenient time for me to alt+tab. Just having ME3 running already, when starting the programm with the other overlay was enouth to fix it for me... Too bad it doesn't work that way for you. |

On the topic of overlays: I run the game in borderless windowed mode and I use Shadowplay, my crosshair overlay and Flawless Widescreen although technically that's not an overlay I guess. Works well. Recently after reinstalling the Computer I had problems with the Origin overlay not working at all - turned out it had nothing to do with any overlay stuff but with my antivirus solution which apparently needed an exception for the Origin/Game folder.
