As the question implies, I know that the class system is radically different in Andromeda, and that your squadmate's classes are not things like Vanguard, Sentinel, etc. Instead it's things like "Biotic Commando" or "Crisis Specialist" and such.
But if one were to go with the classic class names, what would our squadmates be?
I doubt there's any "right" answer here, so I'm not concerned with precision, but if I were to take a crack at it...
Cora = Vanguard/Sentinel *DEFENDER*
I think the Vanguard is an easy one here, but I also put Sentinel because of her tech power. It really fits the Sentinel "ethos" of supporting the team, and can even heal in addition to shield restoration.
Liam = Soldier/Vanguard *SHOCK TROOPER*
I put Soldier because of his Frag Grenades, but also Vanguard because even though he has no biotic abilities, his combat style is very up-close-n-personal, personified by Havoc Strike. If there was ever a tech-based Vanguard class, Liam would be it.
Vetra = Sentinel/Soldier *WARDEN*
I have Vetra as a Sentinel because of her Power Armor (I wish I could have that skill myself, but ah well), and Soldier because of her assault rifle and Turbocharge. She tanks like a Sentinel typically can and her weapons-fire is Grade-A Soldier performance.
Peebee = Adept/Engineer *SKIRMISHER*
Strangely enough, I don't see Peebee as a Sentinel at all because she is mostly biotic, and while she does have Invasion, most of her tech stuff is regarding the Remnant, especially the Remant VI power you can get.
Drack = Soldier/Engineer *COMBAT ENGINEER*
I see Drack as a classic 'Combat Engineer' type; shotguns, Blood Rage, and Flak Cannon. Incinerate and Flak Cannon are enough for me to think "Engineer" even though Flak Cannon is a combat ability.
Jaal = Infiltrator/Engineer *SABOTEUR*
The fact that Jaal uses a sniper rifle sets him firmly in Infiltrator territory, but his Energy Drain and the fact that Angaran armor for Ryder is all about tech makes me see how Jaal has some Engineer-esque setting to it.
That's how I see it anyway, the ALL-CAPS is my idea of a class name like something you the player might pick if given the option.

Overall it's pretty simple:
Liam, Vetra, Drack: Soldiers Jaal, Peebee: Tech Cora: Biotics
Technically Peebee is a biotic as well, being asari, but she tends to not fit into the usual asari bubble and is very technology oriented.
If I had to go into advanced classes, Cora is probably more vanguard than anything, Peebee is probably an engineer (she even has a construct, poc), jaal is an infiltrator (sniper rifle and stealth melee).

Well peebee is kind of an hybrid classes, that mixes both biotics and technology.

There's no way Peebee is tech considering 4 of her 5 powers are Biotic powers. She's either a Biotic with some technical skills or a Sentinel with a bigger focus on Biotic powers.
Liam, with 3 combat skills and 2 tech skills is an Infiltrator without cloak. He's only a bit Soldier-like, but with tech. It's what an infiltrator would be if his cloaking device was damaged beyond repair and lost his sniper rifle.
Vetra is more like a soldier, having 4 combat skills and 1 tech skill, although the tech skill is only to fortify her and increase survivability, so definitely soldier, considering her main weapon is the assault rifle.
Jaal is in the same boat as Vetra, having 4 combat skills and 1 tech skill. However, his tech skill is offensive rather than defensive. He's more of a nuker than a tank like Vetra, so his class is more likely to be an Infiltrator. Especially considering he has a sniper rifle.
Drack is once again a character having 4 combat skills and 1 tech skill. Obviously he's more of a tank also, lining more with Vetra than with Jaal or Liam. He's more soldier-ish.
Cora is the most versatile of all of them. She has 2 biotic skills, 2 combat skills and 1 tech skill. Despite the tech skill, which is used to fortify her during the charge, she's definitely a vanguard, which puts the shotgun to good use up close.

Cora: (Charge, Nova, Shotgun) => Vanguard Drack: Krogan Warlord == Sentinel Liam: (Havoc Strike, Frag Grenades) => Soldier Vetra: (Turbocharge, Concussive Shot) => Soldier PB: (Pull, Shockwave) => Adept Jaal: (Avenger Strike, Sticky Grenades, Sniper) => Infiltrator
They gave each character a tech power because they cut the engineer (Salarian I believe) due to budget and time constraints.
