I was in a game, there were three of us. A new player joined, a Collector Adept, but he was a enemy. It was Gold Reapers on Dagger, they ignored him; he had his full range of powers against the three of us. I've never seen anything like it. By the time we figured out what was going on the whole squad was dead.

Accidental PVP? Now I'd love to try that... Did you see what the killfeed showed? No, the other player never killed us as far as I know, but admittedly I was slow on the up take. He showed up on the HUD with a gamer tag, something starting with a "C". We were on an objective wave, delivery, and I suspect he screwed it up for us. |

Been playing since day 1; never experienced anything like it, not even in modded lobbies... I would kinda understand host being able to do various shennenigans, but a ranom joining player..? This also begets question, who would win in a PvP match? My money is on Mr. Invisible Rolling Biotic God. |

AFAIK players who /changeteam can't actually hurt you, beyond staggering with Heavy Melee & certain Powers, or draining your Shields with Disruptor Ammo. Though a neat trick, as seen in the Puggy Hollow video, if you Falcon Punch someone just as they go down, they become headless for the rest of the match!

Had a pug change teams the other day too. Didn’t catch the origin id though.
Kind of ruins the flow of the match. Nothing wrong with experimenting but should keep it private or w/friends.

If you're the host you can really fuck them up with console commands. You can give them 50 guns that break their character or everyone can just change teams to their side.

I have played since day one and I never knew that was possible. Probably because the console is inaccessible by default - it's not even available through modifying keybinds. The only way to enable it (that I know of) is to download WarrantyVoider's modified dll files, which if you want to use the vast majority of singleplayer mods, you'll have to install anyway. |

As people said before: switching teams is possible. I did it once in a public match to harass ALIENTECH because this one always likes to fire at me (and others) instead of actually playing the game.
