I have a question about human biotics. Don't know if it's in the lore but I couldn't find the answer wherever I looked, or maybe didn't know how to phrase the question for a search engine.
Are biotics in the Systems Alliance in any way flagged as such? What I mean is do they have something special on their dog tags, a pin on their uniforms or armor, and notification from an omni-tool? I'm curious because biotics can be dangerous under any conditions. Kaidan Alenko says all biotics are watched and one reason he joined the marines was because he may as well get paid if they're going to keep on eye on him (or something to that effect).

I don't believe anything specific is mentioned, but I assume there is something because they need to know where to send them and who to give the extra rations to.

I'm sure there's a registration for them and that they can show their status on a license or something but I don't know if they'd be required to display it for everyone to see because of the discrimination they face. I get the sense it's downplayed but not hidden per se.

I was sort of wondering if it was indicated on dog tags or something. Anyway, I guess it's never come up in the books (which I've read) or comics. I'm just about finished writing a short fanfic and one character is biotic. I went ahead and made a "notation" on the dog tags since I couldn't figure it out. It has little impact on the story.
