A test to see how many Anointed you have to eliminate on Platinum Kett Wave 1 and Saboteurs on Wave 3 to deplete the wave budget. Wave 1 Enemy Cost* Destined = 220 * Wraiths = 165 * Anointed = 265 * Outlaws = 220 Eliminating 11 Anointed brings the Wave Budget to 4565 when factoring in the 3 Destined (660), 2 Wraiths (330), and 3 Saboteurs/Pariahs/Agents/Anarchists (660). I did an additional test where I eliminated 17 Wraiths (165 points each) to deplete the wave budget at 4655. Wave 3 Enemy Cost* Destined = 240 * Saboteurs = 220 * Anointed = 265 * Observers = 165 * Ascendant = 530 * Berserker = 275 Eliminating 19 of them brought the Wave Budget to 6325 when factoring in the 2 Destined (480), 2 Anointed (530), 2 Observers (330), 1 Ascendant (530), and 1 Berserker (275). I did an additional test where I took out 13 Berserkers (275 points each) to deplete the wave budget at 5885 points. I suspect the budget for Wave 3 to be around 5800 to 6100 points. Eliminate 6 Ascendants on Platinum Kett Wave 3 and no more will spawn. Just for curious, You ever counted active enemies on plat? It was 8 in me3 but mea it seems be a lot higher and gets higher when difficulty gets higher.

JohnBorrows It depends. Usually, there are 10 enemies on the field at any time on Platinum. There are some waves, like Kett Wave 6, where there are 11: * Kett Wave 6: 3 2 Berserkers* / Behemoth* / Ascendant* / 2 Sharpshooters / 3 Anointed* / 2 Destined* I once thought there were 3 Berserkers, but in reviewing some of my vids, there's only 2.* Remnant Wave 7: 2 Destroyers / 1 Progenitor / Ascendant / 2 Adhis. The Progenitor can spawn up to 4 Red Observers, so that brings it up to 10, but it's not always consistent (and could get stuck at spawn).Some enemies have caps per Wave. That's why it may sometimes seem like there's more enemies on the map. But, I don't think it's ever greater than 11. For instance: * Remnant Wave 3: 2 Destroyers / 3 Berserkers / 3-4 Sharpshooters / 2-3 Nullifiers = 10 or 11? or 12? I prioritize the Berserkers first, and there's a cap of 6 on Wave 3. After you eliminate the 6th, a Sharpshooter or Nullifier will spawn, perhaps multiple to get the enemy count back up to 10. I should do a run with the Avenger and count to get a definitive number that are on the field once the Berserkers are gone. I have not looked at wave compositions on Gold or below.

You don't know how happy you made me. Not only did you test the wave budget, but did so by slaughtering countless (figuratively of course) Anointed. My second most hated enemy just behind Observers. Edit: I only wish you could have done it with a flamer build. I want to see those monsters burn.

More information from Thpd on YT: Credit where credit is due, the implementation of Platinum in Andromeda is way more enjoyable than it was in ME3. The varying number of enemies and elites is more interesting than ME3's rendition of constantly being 8, with 2-6 of them being elites/bosses depending on the faction and wave in question. Andromeda Platinum is probably some of the most fun I had playing it, compared to ME3 Platinum which was by far and away my least favorite difficulty.

Andromeda Platinum is probably some of the most fun I had playing it, compared to ME3 Platinum which was by far and away my least favorite difficulty. Yes. It still is really freaking amazing with a good team, good with PUGs but might be a danger not getting to LZ Best moments in my MP life have been on MEAMP platinums.
