I bought Mass Effect through Origin, just done dowloading and installing. When I tried to launch the game it stuck on infinite black loading screen even alt+ctrl+del couldn't help that I had to resort to power button. What's wrong? and how to fix this? I am running on windows 7, and I tried to use XP compatibility mode but it still didn't work.

That is definitely weird. Shouldn't have any issue running it through Origin on Win 7. Any chance your AV program might be blocking it from launching?

Check your graphics card's model to the min. spec required to play ME-1.
