Do you believe Anthem should fail?

First and foremost, the most realistic answer will probably be "Unsure" since none of us have the game in our hands, though some will still predict that the game will fall on either side. Anthem, for those who pay attention to gaming news, is a fairly controversial game for a number of reasons:

1) It doesn't have some of Bioware's more notable features, like offline-play, romances, and companions
2) It's being published by EA, which has undoubtedly garnered a lot of animosity recently
3) People are still upset with Bioware after what became of Mass Effect: Andromeda. In fact, some look at Anthem as to why Andromeda was so poorly made
4) Given that Anthem has mechanics similar to other games in the shared-world genre, games that have not fared well in the public eye upon release, some tend to believe Anthem is going to follow suit in their shortcomings.

To put it bluntly, there's a vocal crowd that believes Anthem has strayed so far from old-school Bioware, or that it emulates other games so much, that it deserves to fail. So I'm posing this question to everyone here because I want to get your opinion on the game. At the very least, there's likely a good portion of people who are interested in the game, but still remain skeptical of how well it will perform. We still don't know many of the different aspects associated with Anthem, such as the core narrative elements, the loot system, activities in the world, etc. While this lack of information has some people anxious to see more, it also makes others uneasy and fearful of the fact that so much information is being withheld.

Based on playtests from individuals on YouTube and various video game media companies (like Gamespot and Gameinformer), the recent demo showcased at E3 was considered to be an enjoyable experience that plays better than it looks. A few of these individuals (such as IGN"s Destin Legarie) were also able to play a much earlier build of Anthem (prior to E3 2018) and said that that version of the game was fairly clunky, indicating Bioware has made strides in making the game a more fluid game to play.

If you want my own personal opinion, I'm cautiously optimistic. There's a great deal of skepticism that goes along with that optimism, and I don't see myself getting this game the day it comes out (maybe a week or two after release). A game such as this probably needs to be given at least 3 to 4 weeks so that it's clear whether or not it has enough going for it to bolster its longevity. I tried to avoid being biased in the making of this thread/poll, but if you see any issues let me know.

For clarity regarding item 3 on that list I made, there was reporting done by Kotaku's Jason Schreier that the Andromeda team was short staffed. Some of these staff members were plucked from the team in order to work on Anthem, hence why some will use the phrase, "Andromeda died because of this game".

EDIT: I guess I should give my thoughts. I personally think the game will generally do well, and I hope it succeeds.
