I was also working on a Meng model the D9R Armored Bulldozer   and i can recommend Meng it was nearly perfect so a lot of fun to build and to paint. |

After doing some liquor cabinets I got it into my mind to make a hanging table/shelf. Tables are wood palette wood. 4 cords, holes drilled in table just big enough to let the chord through. Knots are tied in the cords and small disks are set for the table sections to sit on. Small wood section at top to bring the chords together so they can be tide to the ring which hangs on the roof plant hanger. I learned a few things to make improvements to the design. As I expected the critical part is getting the knots tide at just the right spot.    |

A friend gave me an old wooden bed frame last year, painted dark brown with varnish and such on it. I suspected there was some nice wood underneath the paint. I cut some of it into 4 sections (33 inches long) about 8 inches wide. Removed the paint and varnish and then glued the sections together and stained them. (Final size is about 32 x 33 inches) I then did the art work. I have always like native Canadian (indigenous) art work. I took some stock images from the internet and used carbon paper to trace the images and then I hand painted them. I also wanted to put the names of the things (Crow, Whale, Salmon, Eagle) and after a bit of research got the English words and symbols.  |

Oh you have your laser printer awesome! Finally got it print halfway decently. We started wih a Monoprice, but it was functionally DOA. We then switched to a BiQu B1, which was also DOA. At that point, I angry ordered a Prusa. Which made a nice whistle. Then I reset it to zero by mistake and have been calibrating like mad all weekend. It seems to be printing nicely and both fascinates and frightens the cats.
