Best Pistol?

Each of the top tier have their pros and cons:

* Rozerad: high dps and big clip, but spool up time
* Silhesh: high dps and decent sized clip, but travel time
* Hurricane: high dps and instant hitting, but smaller clip
* Ushior: hard hitting, but small clip size means you have to make every shot count
* Equalizer: moderate dps, but has distance limit

Not a fan of the Eagle, though it has been buffed up recently.

Scorpion is good at blind firing while in cover.

Charger decent if you have nothing else.

Talon was great in ME3MP, but not as good here. Needs tighter base spread.

Just no to the Sidewinder, Carnifex, Phalanx, and Predator.

Prefer the Rozerad to the Hurricane, mostly because of spare ammo, but also clip size. In pistol skirmishes, I'll carry a concussive and siphon. Before unlocking the concussive, I'd run with the Hurricane concussive and Rozerad siphon, so had a fair amount of experience with the Hurricane.

I like to take the Ushior as my second weapon with the PAW … on maps like Icebreaker, it allows me to shoot targets outside the PAW's range and shoot stuff behind cover. Before I got the Ushior siphon, I used the Carnifex for that purpose.

I love the Talon concussive, it's really only effective up close and personal … but those head shots are glorious.

Not a fan of the Shilesh, the receiver (penetration) mod is bugged and I don't like the inability to shoot through cover. If you do run with it, the long barrel and heavy magazine work well together.  FYI, if you run with the Turian Agent, his visor power will overcome the penetration bug and allow you to shoot through cover, while the visor is active.

In almost all other cases, I run with the long barrel and the receiver. Sometimes I'll equip the Ushior with a scope and receiver, for those long range sniper shots or through cover, that the PAW can't handle.

I only have siphon variants up to rare, so on Gold I like Charger (good priming and decent DPS), Hornet (also good priming, and very effective weakpoint hitter). Scorpion for those times when I run somewhere, need healing, but can't be bothered by aiming. Talon.. it works, but feels too rigid and slow. Equalizer is pretty good for priming, but DPS is low. Also, range is bad.
Also, Hurricane (even non-siphon) on Krogan Vanguard is best. Charge, shoot (even headshots are possible, because you are so close), rage, reload, repeat =) Just remember to take something long range for those Hacks and Uploads.
