I have posted this on the Nexus forums as well, but I am hoping some one here can help as well.
I have played this game ( The Legendary Edition, or Oldrim as many seem to call it now a days. ) on and of since it came out and never had this happen. I freed Serana, and we reached the boat that should take us to the Castle. But when I click on the boat I get two loading screens, and then my character and Serana are back at the dock with the boat?

Swimming there is not going to help ( I tried it. ) because of that invisible barrier apparently. I have seriously no idea how to continue right now?

) BUT... it must have happened for a reason, so if any one has any idea as to why/how this could have happened then please let me know?

This time I will simply backup the whole savegame folder to my external Harddrive whenever I have played Skyrim.
