It is a short side-quest on Havarl. I found the console but it is dead, no response at all. I restarted my computer, no luck. I went to Thaldyr hut and he is dying. When I came back to the console, it is still dead.

I think that's the wrong house. Thaldyr's part of a different mission.

OP … you might want to put some time into the MEA Wiki. A lot of your MEA questions can be answered, not just referring to the various missions listed, but also things like weapons and NPCs. While the Wiki is not perfect (e.g. in the weapons section, the MEAMP Piranha is listed as Rare instead of an Ultra Rare weapon), overall it is fairly good and can be quite a bit of help. |

When I came back to the console, it is still dead. The console is Rashel Vier's house is supposed to be dead. It normally initiates a conversation over the coms with Rashel where Ryder can offer to look for a network node in another location. That location is near where the fuel fire is burning. You'll need to use your scanner (that is click on your scanner while it has it highlighted). After you've properly scanned it, you should be able to activate it. |

When you tried to use the console in Rashel's house, did you initiate the conversation over the coms with her about looking for the additional network node and agreed to continue doing the task at that point? The location of the second console should then have been marked on your map and you would not have needed to refer to the "online paper" to find it. Beyond that, then the quest may be bugged, but I've personally never experienced a bug in that particular quest. If the quest is bugged, you'll probably have to roll back to an earlier save if you want to complete it. |
